"Sammy!"
Sam laughed and quickly shut the door behind him, setting his briefcase down and walking over to his brother.
"Hey there dean-o! Did you miss me?" Sam shuffled over, trying to take his shoes off in the process, his long hair flopping around.Dean nodded fiercely and opened his arms, wanting to be held, and Sam just couldn't say no. The taller male quickly bent down and picked up his brother, balancing the male on his hip.Sam took this time to look his brother over. Dean was wearing a baggy green t-shirt that had a picture of a t-Rex holding a teddy bear. The shirt Sam had gotten him just a few days ago. Dean was also wearing a white pull-up that had teddy bears dancing all around it, which just seemed perfect for the male. Sam hugged dean tightly, laughing as dean giggled cutely.
An exasperated sigh stole sam's attention from dean, he glanced over to cas who stood with his arms crossed and an irritated look upon his face. "Dean you need to put your pants on" Cas said angrily, making Sam laugh more.
"Aw dean-o where you being bad for your daddy? " Sam lowered his brother to the ground, ignoring the adorable pout dean wore, and walked over to cas, giving him a side a hug and a soft kiss to the cheek. "Hey cas."
Castial frowned at Sam "it's dad, Sam. Your not excluded from this."
"But I'm also not the one who was reduced to the mind set of a three-year-old." Sam retaliated, pointing a finger towards dean, the grown man who was currently playing with the toys that lingered around the room like that of a child. Cas opened his mouth to retort but Sam cut him off by turning around and ruffling deans hair
"How was your day today buddy? Were you a good boy for daddy?"
Dean nodded his head happily, his toothy grin seemingly lighting up the room. Even the usual stone faced angel made a soft cooing noise from behind Sam. The "older" Winchester grinned like a man in love and patted deans head.
"What did you do today, dean-o?" Sam asked, sitting crossed legs in front of dean, watching the man who's mentality was reduced to a toddler, play with tiny cars. Each painted different colors (all of deans favorite colors, least he have a fit) and made in models dean picked out.
"We watched tv, and we colored, and we made lunch, and we um and we colored and I colored really pretty pictures for you Sammy! And we.."
Sam listened to dean ramble off the many things they did, not really paying attention. His thoughts focused on how happy dean looked. How there where no longer bags under his bright green eyes from the lack of sleep durning and In between hunts. How deans skin had a healthy glow from the pampering himself and Cas had bestowed upon dean. This was good for dean. This was good for Sam. The Winchester brothers deserved this, and Sam was over the moon, glad his brother agreed to this those few months ago.
Cas scooted around the two brothers and sat down on the plush brown couch. Dean reached his arms up, asking his daddy to pick him up. The angle leaned forward, hooked his arms under the mans armpits, and lifted the him with ease on to his lap. Deans back rested against the Angels chest, and cas placed his chin on the green eyed mans head, closing his own blue eyes in contempt.
The nest had a relaxed air to it, everyone knowing they were safe, protected and loved. The outside world seemed to drift away when the family came together and sat in the nest, basking in each other's presence.
Finally they had a place their own.
This was their home.
