Touko looked out the guest bedroom window. Her blue eyes trailed down the falling snowflakes, which were now piled up against the black castle's walls. The white snow laid bright next to the dark castle, contrasting each other.

Black and white. Two opposites closely connected.

White. The color of her homeland, the color of innocence and purity, the color of her name.

Black. A dark, void, empty substance. A color with no light, contaminating anything it touches..Living in such a dark castle covered in black was unknown to her. The white snow would disappear as soon as it touched the black colored walls. Although it was only a moment before it was replaced by another fallen snowflake. Almost as if it were eating away the light colored substance.

Her face held a calm, emotionless expression while watching the snow..However her thoughts inside were not as peaceful. A knock on her door dismissed her from all previous thoughts. "...it's time." The voice said softly, almost as if it were handling easily broken glass.

Touko stood with her beautiful white gown draped over her body. The dress was well made, custom at that. The hems laid just past her ankles, her medium dark brown hair was pinned up elegantly in the form of a rose, and with two wavy locks of hair loose in front, the tips barely reached her collarbone.  She looked like a princess being wed off to a powerful lord...fortunately she wasn't the one being traded over as some form of political peace treaty. No, Touko would not be the one forced to marry a person she hasn't met, for today at least. Fret not, today there shall still be a wedding. Despite her princess status for some reason Touko wasn't chosen to be the bride. But that did not change her situation, after all Touko wanted nothing more than this nonsense of a wedding to cease.

Touko wasted no time exiting out of her guest room to the hallway, ignoring the guard beside her. A matching white pair of heels echoed castle's hallway as the brunette walked passed a guard. In fact it was the  same guard who informed her of the time, she noticed he was a Castle Black Knight. "M-Miss White, I was sent to guide you to the ceremony room since you are unfamiliar with Castle Black-"

"No need. I can find my way there on my own, you are dismissed from your duties." Touko shot back, without her fast stride decreasing.

"But Ma'm, that's not the way to--"

Interrupting him again Touko gave him a quick response. "I know where it is, I have somewhere more important to be first." Her tone stayed calm; however stern.

The guard wanted to argue and press on how absurd her statement was, but decided that it wouldn't change her mind.

Touko, who was pleased that the man finally left her alone, continued her stride down the hall. Turning to the left, then right, then left again is where she found the destination she was aiming for. She stopped in front of the door for a few moments before opening it. The door creaked, revealing a group of busy women surrounding one dressed in a wedding gown. The gown matched Touko's however it was much more detailed and extravagant. The best in all Unova. The bride's face was still, her expression was peaceful and well dignified. She was the most beautiful woman Touko ever saw.

"Mother."

When the bride turned around and saw Touko, her face automaticity lit up. Her blue eyes sparkled. "My, Touko, you look stunning! Just look at you...ah, do you mind ladies? I'd like to have a few moments alone with my daughter."
