"You don't have to feel guilty about it, Vannie," Adrian was trying to console her for the tenth time. Kasama niya ito ngayon sa library. Nagkabati na kasi silang dalawa and now they're back in good terms.

"I don't know, Adrian," She sounded helpless. Why is Sam making things for her difficult? Why did he even transfer? The guilt is really eating her. She knew Sam transferred because of her. Because she had said something. But she can't vividly remember anything that she said. The only thing that she barely remember was she got drunk because of the juice given by the unknown female students and her last statement—when she told him to leave her alone.

Alam niyang naiirita na ito sa kanya. She was saying those things to her boyfriend all over again—but she can't help it. Although both her and Sam didn't start that good, she still owed Sam a lot—for saving her so many times. Hindi niya alam. Talagang naguguluhan siya sa inaasal nito sa kanya. Why is he making things confusing for me?

She knew, deep inside, the moment she knew Sam transferred, she was a little sad and hurt.

"Vannie, why are you suddenly acting like this?" The irritation was obvious at Adrian's voice, "Akala ko, you used to hate him, this would benefit the university if he isn't here, Vannie."

Natahimik naman si Vanessa sa sinabi nito. If things didn't change, she might think like that. But now, it's different. She doesn't know, she's not even sure.

"Vannie, are.. you.. starting to like him?"

Napatigil naman si Vannie sa pag-iisip niya at napatingin kay Adrian nakaupo ngayon sa harap niya. He was eyeing her suspiciously—more like giving her a look she was cheating to him.

"N-No!" She denied. She would never. Sam just.. Sam just became a very important friend to her.

"Are you cheating me with him?" Halata sa boses nito na dismayado ito, "Alam kong nag-uusap kayo Vannie, hell, I always notice it whenever his around." He sounded like he was pissed off. Alam niyang bad mood na naman ito. He was jealous.

"Adrian, no. Why are you even thinking like this? Ikaw ang boyfriend ko, you've been with me since high school, I can't just cheat on you. Why would you even think like this?" She was now sounding frustrated too. If this will turn into a fight again, dadagdag na naman ito sa mga aalahanin niya.

Ito naman ang natahimik. Maya-maya ay nagsalita naman ito. He was not even looking at her now, "He has everything. Probably, all the girls would go to him. And I'm just nothing.. just a poor scholar studying in this university, I don't know with you, Vannie. I don't know what's happening to you. If you're confused at what we have right now, it's up to you."

"Yeah. These pastries are good too."

"Did you cook these?"

Napahinto naman si Vannie sa mga yapak niya nang makita ang isang pamilyar na lalake sa harapan niya. She was about to enter the coffee shop when she saw him talking to the two girls, giggling at him. She stiffened. She hasn't seen him for days since that incident happened.

She knew it was his coffee shop. At alam niya.. somehow, she hoped she would see him here. And yes, there he was, enjoying the company of the girls who was obviously smittened over him.

Napansin naman siya nito at tumingin sa kanya. But after a few seconds, he immediately went back in talking with the two female customers. Halata ritong enjoy na enjoy ang mga ito sa pag-uusap. He pretended he didn't notice her—it was obvious.
