It was a cold day in early December for Hogwarts all the students were in their common rooms for the day. The Mauraders, who consisted of Remus Lupin (Moony), Peter Pettigrew (Wormtail), Sirius Black (Padfoot), and James Potter (Prongs) were all fifth year students were all planning a prank to play on Snape. Lily Evans also a fifth year student just walked in and the Mauraders and her were flashed out into the Room of Requirements.
"Potter, what did YOU do?!" Lily yelled. "I did nothing and neither did any of the others. We were PLANNING a prank but this isn't it." James answered. Before Lily could talk again a pile of seven books came in the room with a letter.
It Said:
James, Lily, Remus, Sirius, and Peter,
I know you are wondering why you are in the Room of Requirements and I know that you didn't do it James. anyway there are seven books in front of you that tell the future of what happens in a couple of years. If you want to help change events on what happens, please read the books, some of the stuff in there might surprise you. Time outside of this room is still so Lily you won't miss any classes and You four won't miss any pranking. After you finish each book you would get a letter from me telling you to go on the books have a number on the side. You will probably find out who I am in my next letter.
