“Al, Al, it’s time to wake up now.” Niall said, gently shaking me away.

“My god, this girl is a heavier sleeper than Zayn.” Harry said.

“Ey, Allison. Time to get up!” Louis shouted.

I opened my left eye just enough to see Louis. “Use my full name again and I will not hesitate to cut off your balls.” I growled.

“Yeesh, woke up on the wrong side of bed much.” Louis mumbled.

“We have to get going,” Liam said, checking his phone for the time.

I slowly got up, still not fully awake. I stumbled forward and tripped on a bag in the aisle.  Niall caught me just before I could face plant into the carpet.

“Do you want a piggyback ride?” He asked me after he helped me back up.

“Yes please.” I said, I never turn down piggyback rides.

I hopped on his back and he proceeded down the aisle and into the airport.  Harry and Louis were next to us wheeling their bags, and Liam and Zayn had disappeared off somewhere.

I rested my head on Niall bouncing shoulder and tried to absorb everything around me. It was weird, knowing I was so far from home. A whole ocean away.

We made it to the baggage claim, and after what seemed like an hour we finally found all the luggage. An old man tried to take my bright pink duffle bag! I mean I think it’s one of those free ones from Victoria’s Secret!

At first I was nice to him, I asked him politely, and showed him where it said my name, but he just wouldn’t give it to me. So I started yelling at him, and he tried to hit me with a cane. At that point Niall had to intervene and calm things down.

We walked outside with our bags to wait for the car. Minutes later Liam and Zayn came up in a car driven by some big guy.

“Hop in,” Liam told us as Zayn opened the sliding door.

We all piled in, and got situated for the drive to the flat in London.  The entire time I had my face glued to the window, looking out at the new scenery. I was asking so many questions I am surprised the boys didn’t get annoyed. The boys all laughed at my excitement, psssht, not everyone can be international popstars and travel around the world!

“Sorry to interrupt your sight seeing, but we are here.” The driver said, while all the boys laughed at me.

“Oops,” I said, climbing out of the car. I grabbed my luggage and started heading for the door.

“Al,” Liam said. “Where are you going?”

“Ummm to the door.” I responded. All the boys were pretty much dying with laughter at this point.

“That’s not our flat.” Liam told me.

“Oh,” I could feel my cheeks growing red. I walked back down the path, and followed the boys to a house two doors down.

Liam unlocked the door and all the boys started heading in different directions, I assume to their various rooms. All the boys left the room quickly, awkwardly leaving me there standing with my bright pink bags. Well, might as well take advantage of this time alone. I decided to look around the house.

It was extremely nice, the house that is. There was a big open entryway that led off to a rather large kitchen. There was a tv type area with some big couches and a coffee table. There was also a room with a piano and instruments.  I mean they are musicians. Their choice of music, eh, but what can I say… I am a Coldplay girl myself. There was a room with a pool table and foosball and some other game stuff. I also found a pantry, and it was quite well stocked when I found it, a little less so when I left, if you catch my drift. The boys’ rooms, I presumed, are up stairs considering I haven’t seen any of them yet. Out back I saw a nice large pool that just begged me to go swimming in it.

“Al!”

“Al where are you?”

“I’ll be right there!” I called stashing the chips back in the pantry. I ran around the corner and slid to a stop in front of the guys. “Ya?” I asked them.

“We took your stuff up to the guest room, that’s where you will be staying until the audition and after until you flight back to the US.” Liam informed me.

“Cool, thanks!” I said with a big goofy grin on my face.

“What’s up with you?” Harry asked, obviously suspicious about why I was smiling.

“Nothing.” I said, trying to pull on a straight face.

“Tell me!” He commanded, pointing his finger at me. He had a smile on though, so I knew he wasn’t actually mad. “Or I will tickle you!”

“I’d like to see you try. I’m not ticklish.” I proclaimed loudly, even though it was a total lie.

“W-what?” He stammered. “That’s totally not fair.”

“Didn’t your Mom ever tell you life isn’t fair, Harry.” I said, putting a fake unhappy face on, and sticking out my lower lip.

“Its okay Haz, we will get her somehow.”  Louis said, patting Harry on the shoulder.

“Well, lads. It is getting late, we have an early day tomorrow at the studio, off to bed with all of you.” Liam said, shooing the boys off to their rooms. He got a chorus of ‘Boo’s and ‘Aww’s from the guys. “Al, you can come with us tomorrow morning, and we have arranged for you to use the dance studio in the building starting at ten.”

“Thanks Liam!” I said.

“It’s really no problem. Be ready to leave at 8 sharp tomorrow.” Liam said, as he started making his way to his room. I followed him up the stairs and to my own room.

The room was pretty big, but didn’t have much in it. There was a desk, a wardrobe, and a big king size bed. The only bright color was my bag in the corner. I walked over to by bag and grabbed some pjs and my makeup bag, except with like my toothbrush and facewash in it. I quickly changed into my pjs and walked over to the bathroom.

The tile was cold under my bare feet. I washed my face with my pink grapefruit facewash, and brushed my teeth. I put on some lotion, and brushed my hair, braiding it back into a French braid. I walked back to bed and climbed under the cold, white sheets. I snuggled deeper into the bed in hopes I might get some warmth.

“Al,” Harry said.

“It’s time to get up.” Louis added.

“Just five more minutes,” I said, rolling over.

THUNK

I face planted onto the wood floor next to my bed. Luckily I was smart enough to shield my face, so I didn’t break my nose. Apparently I wasn’t smart enough to know I was right next to the edge of the bed.

I could hear Harry and Louis cracking up, I think they aren’t getting enough oxygen from the color blue their faces are turning.

I slowly stood up. “I’m up. Now get out.” I shoved them, still giggling, out the door. I grabbed my dance clothes from the smaller duffle bag and headed to the adjoining bathroom. I took a nice long shower and scrubbed myself clean.

I dried my hair and applied light mascara. I threw on my tights and leo, then a pair of sweatpants to go over them. I put my hair up in a tight bun and grabbed my dance bag.

The boys were all downstairs in the kitchen. The moment I walked in harry and Louis burst out in another round of laughter. I flicked them each in the head as I walked by. I grabbed some cereal from the cabinet and just started eating it out of the box.

“Alright boys, time to go.” Paul yelled to us from the front door.

We all shuffled outside into the cool morning air, then back into the warm air of the van. The van ride was really short, and I was still tired so I took a nap against the window.
