The lost timelord doctor who

The Time Lord woke up and looked around. "Where am I?" He reached into his, jacket, pulled out his sonic screwdriver and activated the time scanner and it projected a clock "2013, july 3rd 5:30am" he noted, suddenly his sonic screwdriver sent a shock up his arm and he dropped it. The Timelords arm felt numb and he couldn't move it and when he bent down to examine his sonic screwdriver, being very careful not to touch it, he noticed the focusing lens was cracked and loose, Which was very dangerous. What had happened? Then he looked down and noticed his clothes were too big. Why he was wearing them when he didn't even like them? He reached into his pocket and pulled out a handful of $100 notes. Cool, strange but cool. He looked around and found he was on an empty road, but he could hear cars not far away. He got up and started walking in the direction the sound was coming from.

When he got there he found the city was under attack. Robotic men were destroying everything in sight. Cybermen. As he watched a Cyberman grabbed a man, who was attempting to run, and started dragging him away. Cybermen Have a weakness, he recalled, but what? Before he could remember another Cyberman grabbed him by the jacket. He tried to pull away but the grip was too strong and he had no way to break its grip. The timelord grabbed the Cybermans wrist in desperation and suddenly it released him and fell over.the timelord looked down at his hand and realised he was wearing a gold ring with a small ruby set into the top. Gold! Thats their weakness. "How did you do that?" A female voice asked from behind him and he turned around. Behind him stood a women with brown hair and brown eyes who was a bit taller than him. "Look out!," she shouted as a hand grabbed his ankle and pulled it out from under him and he hit the ground. The timelord looked back and saw the Cyberman getting up with one hand on the timelords ankle. Suddenly the women ran at the Cyberman. "No!" He yelled but it was too late the Cyberman swung it's hand at her and nocked her to the ground. The Timelord took the distraction to turn and try and touch the Cyberman with his ring again, but the Cyberman was smarter this time and grabbed his wrist so he couldn't use his ring again. As the Timelord struggled his sleeve fell down to his elbow and he saw a black, leather, watch looking object. His time vortex manipulator. The Timelord reached over, opened up the cover, programmed in the time and place and activated the time vortex manipulator. Suddenly he was in a huge vault full of gold with the Cyberman. "That can't be good for you," he said as the Cyberman fell over again. "Now what do I do with you?" Then he had a brilliant idea. "Ok I need a new sonic, if I went back to July 3rd it would take three days to build unless I had a sonic...that's it! He ran over to a pile of gold ,which was higher than the others, and pushed the top bar off and there in a hollow in the bars of gold lay a sonic screwdriver. "Ok July 3rd 6:00 I'll have been gone for about a minute," then he activated his vortex manipulator and suddenly he was back. "Are you ok?" It was the women who had tried to help him. "Yes, you?"

"I'm fine. Who are you?"

"I'm...," then he frowned. "I don't remember. What your name?"

"Caitlin", she answered.

"Ok come with me", said the Timelord and ran into the electronics store behind them.

"What are we going to do here?"

"I'm going to build a sonic screwdriver."

"A what?"

The Timelord didn't answer, instead he walked over to a television and pulled out his sonic screwdriver, pointed it at the television and activated it.

"What is that?" She asked

"A sonic screwdriver", he answered as he pulled the front of the television off. "Let's see I need this, this and this," he said pulling circuitry out of the tv.
