Chapter 7: Near the Bay

Calum had planned today's activities so he called everyone around to give us the information on today's plan.

Calum: Right guys, we're going to this place near the habour.

Me: Near a habour? What is there to do?

Calum: Take pics, walk around, eat

Me: So a chilled day today?

Luke: Thought you might need the rest

Amy: I'm cool with it

Me: What time we leaving?

Calum: 5 so we can be there by 6

Me: We've got time till then. What do we do till then?

Calum: I don't know...I had planned the day according to my waking up time.

Me: So what are we supposed to do till then?

Calum: I've got some work that needs sorting out so I'm sorry I won't be able to company you.

Calum left to go to his room again.

Me: *turns to Amy* who should we disturb now?

Amy: Luke

Me: *mumbles* of course you'd say that.

Amy: Huh? Did you say anything?

Me: No...I think you should talk to Luke

Amy: I would but I just need to talk to Mrs Hood about something.

Me: Talk about what?

Amy: Stuff.

Amy left as well.

There was me trying to get Luke and Amy together and then there was Amy...clearly not helping with the plan. I walked over to Luke, who was standing awkwardly in the corner, to ask for ways to kill the time.

Me: Hi, I need your help to kill this extra time.

Luke: You're in luck, I've got on thinking hat on.

He literally did have his black thinking hat on. He started listing a few things and I shook my head to the ones I rejected.

Luke: Watch tv?  Read a book? Play some video game? Get your outfit ready? Have a shower?

Me: Excuse me! What are you trying to say?

Luke: That you kinda smell...

I knew Luke was kidding from the smile he had on his face but I couldn't miss the chance to hit so I pretended to not know and then slapped his arm a few times. I would have carried on but Amy saved him.

Amy's POV

I had finished helping Mrs Hood so I went back into the house and the first thing I saw was Rooz hitting Luke's arm. It seemed like a harmless fight but I still felt bad for Luke so I coughed to break it.

Me: *coughs* Rooz, are you done hitting Luke?

Rooz: You seem to have forgotten you're my bestfriend

Me: Oh no...I remember that but I also remember that I'm Luke's buddy.

Luke: My saviour is here! *tries to hide behind me*

Rooz: Fine! It's you two against me.

Me: Before you start attacking us, can I know how this started in the first place?

Luke: I'll tell you.

Rooz: Don't lie though.

Luke: I won't. Basically Rooz asked for ways to kill the time and I gave her a few ideas but she kept rejecting them so I gave her a very productive idea.
