The Schedule

Emerald's POV:
I wake up to the sound of the alarm blasting my ear drums half way out . I smack everything on my dresser till' I finally hit the snooze button. I finally get up 10 minutes later and brush my teeth, I got the shower ready while I picked out my clothes .A white Hotline Bling sweater and high waisted acid wash jeans  and white sneakers.I took a quick shower and put my clothes on and put my hair in a high ponytail.I was already late on the first day .I grabbed my book-bag ,phone, and ran outside .I speed walked to school I checked the time on my phone it was 8:30 that means I missed 1st period. I walked into school swiped my I.D and grabbed my late pass and my schedule .1st period English , 2nd period Math , 3rd period Music , 4th period Health , 5th Social Studies, 6th Science , 7th Lunch , 8th English . I skimmed over my schedule and thought why is lunch so late and went to Math . I slowly walked in and everyone turned to me even the teacher . I saw all my friends and walked toward the back where they were and I dropped my stuff roughly I turned around and saw the J squad (what a great name 😑) .I walked to the teacher and gave her my late pass .The teacher scoffed and said " late on the first day what a great start Emerald" I rolled my eyes and walked to my friends . Iris was wearing a bun ,glasses, white sorta see through button down ,jeans and white shoes .Shay was wearing a Divergent shirt ,black jeans,and black shoes .Kacey was wearing a black shirt with lace and white jeans and black shoes . Angle was wearing red shirt, dark jeans, and red shoes .Diamond was wearing a grey shirt with black sculls on it and black jeans with Doc Martins .I sat down and started talking to everyone .
"Emerald , why were you so late"Shay said
"Cause all you guys know I take forever to do things"I replied and they all agreed.
"Hey want me to pick you up tomorrow " Iris said
"Um..isn't it illegal for a 15 year old to drive"I replied
"I'M 16 " she half yelled
"Oh yeah never mind"I replied we all giggled the teacher kept explaining some stuff that no one was listening to .Then finally the bell rang and everyone scurried to there next class music. I sat in my seat and turns out my friends had all the same class.
"Guys what classes do you have "I asked they pulled out there schedule and checked .Then they all said ,"1st period English , 2nd period Math , 3rd period Music , 4th period Health , 5th Social Studies, 6th Science , 7th Lunch , 8th English . Wow" they all had surprised looks on there faces ,then we all burst out laughing ."Settle down settle down"said the teacher. The J squad was spread across the room because the teacher didn't trust them .We were spread across the room because we didn't stop talking but I was right next to Shay so I was okay. Jordan was on my left while Jack was on Shay's right. The entire class was a blur cause I wasn't listening I was just thinking why in the world was Jordan staring at me.I looked over to Jack and he was doing the same to Shay .The other 3 periods were also blur until lunch.I walked downstairs to the cafeteria and sat in the table me and my friends always sit at . My friends were already there so we just started talking ."Emerald want some croissant cause I know you didn't pack food today "Shay said.
"Sure" I said as I took the croissant and ate it ,we all laughed at the way I ate the croissant .
I looked straight and realized the whole J squad was staring at us and my eyes went wide.
"What's wrong Emerald"Kacey said
"L-lo-loo-look"I said they all turned
"Whole crap"Shay said
"That's mad scary"Angle said
"What's wrong with them there just staring at us like creeps"I said
"I have no idea but if I catch them staring at us next period I gonna say something " Iris said then the bell rang"Okay well here's your chance" I said as we got to our next class .
