Chapter 3: A Blazing Showdown

A fight begins between Hinoko Yamazaki and the thief known as Ludwig. In a clash of fire and iron, which fighter will be named the victor? The answer lies here...

Chapter 3:

A Blazing Showdown

       Ludwig stood with a smirk as he casually placed his hands into his pants pockets. As the fireball came within 10ft in front of him, Ludwig lightly tapped his right foot causing an iron wall to shoot up from the ground. This would cause the fireball to slam into the iron wall, melting it slightly. Ludwig then lowered the wall and looked over at Hinoko as he began laughing. .

       Hinoko dropped his arms to his sides and clenched his fists, glaring at Ludwig. Noticing the young man's stare, Ludwig's laughter quickly faded as he then smirked. "If you really wanna fight, then why don't you come over here and prove to me you're worthy of one." And with no hesitation, Hinoko rushed at Ludwig, his right fist winded back. Ludwig stood with his hands still in his pockets, watching the male's movements and awaiting for an opportunity to strike. Hinoko kept his pace then suddenly leaped around 20ft into the air and cloaked his right fist in blue flames as he kept his sights on Ludwig. He then shifted his weight so that his upper body was facing the ground as he fell.

       "Sacred Fire! Tiger's Strike!!" He yelled as he crashed his right fist into Ludwig's jaw. Unable to take the hit, Ludwig was sent skidding across the pavement. Evelyn stood silently, amazed by what she was witnessing. She then lowered her head and began thinking. "I can't believe it...I'm actually witnessing two elementalist duke it out with each other. I wonder if my own strength is able to match these guys... I guess only time will tell." She then lifted her head back up and continued to watch the two fight.

       The two elementalists swung their fist at each other like most would in a street brawl. Trading blow-for-blow, back and forth, the two decided to simultaneously jump back a few feet to create distance.

       "You're better than I thought Pyro. But enough fucking with you, I've got other places to be." Following his words, four 4ft iron planks shot out from the ground and wrapped around Hinoko to prevent him from any further movement. "This is where you lose the fight kid. It was nice knowing ya'."

       "No! Hinoko!" Evelyn yelled out, running over to aid the young male. "I'll get you out of here!" Hinoko, shocked at the fact that Evelyn was willing to help get him free, suddenly grinned then looked over at the girl.

       "No need to get yourself hurt. A little squeeze like this isn't enough to end a fight." Evelyn then stopped for a brief moment and stared into the male's eyes. She did this as a sense of gaining hope. Once she finally came to her own conclusion, she simply stepped back a few feet. She then folded her hands near her thighs, resting them there as she gave a slight nod.

       Seeing the nod, Hinoko turned his attention towards Ludwig and let out a small sigh. "Ya' know, I have better things to do too Ludwig. Sitting here having a pointless fist fight with you is a bore. With that being said, I'll finish this here ok?"

       Ludwig laughed at the young male, taking his words as a mere joke. He then snapped his fingers on his right hand, causing the planks to squeeze tighter around Hinoko. "You're a comedian, kid. Who knew?"

       "Hinoko..." Evelyn mumbled to herself, trying to keep faith.

       "I guess you don't get it do you Ludwig? You can't win..." Hinoko replied as smoke began to rise from the iron. The young male was secretly melting the iron, leaving Ludwig to believe he was in control.
