Chapter 12.5:
Yet another day in the life of Yoshino
*BEEP BEEP BEEP* "Ugh!" I say with disgust because of the thought of having to wake up. I throw the blankets back over my head and try to go back to sleep. As I lay there trying to fall asleep, I think I hear a creak but I try to ignore it. As a minute passes, I fall asleep only to be woken by an alarming movement I feel on my body. "EEEEKK!" I fall out of my bed and hit my head on the floor. I hear laughing. "MAKOTO! you idiot!" I get up as fast as I could and sock him right in the face. "Ow! That hurt!" "Stop your complaing. I hit my head because of your foolishness!" I say rubbing my head. I swear sometimes Makoto is a child stuck in an "adult" body.
"So, did you sleep well?" Makoto asks while making breakfest "Yeah until you came along and woke me up..." "Sorry, you were so still. I had to make sure you we're still alive." "Mhm..." I say taking a sip of coffee. "Ow! I burn't my tounge."
"Hey Sakura!" "Yo,shi- I mean Hi!" She replys with a smile. "Sooooooooo how did it go?" "Hmm?" I ask her. "Yuuta." "OH! It went great! We talked for awhile and then he exchanged numbers, see?" I say pulling out my phone. Sakura smiles "I'm glad for you!" "Thanks"
"Okay class, today we are going to learn about..." That was all I cared to hear. Everytime he says that it is always really boring, so I decide to just look out the window. I am pretty sure I was imagning it, but I blink and see a girl... just standing there. I decide to watch her a little longer, but she just stays still.
"Lunch time!" Sakura says with delight. "Hey... aren't you gonna join us Yoshino?" "Uhh... sorry, no.... I have uhh... business to attend to." "Oh...okay..." I walk outside and the girl is still standing there. "Hi! I'm Yoshino." "Huh! Oh... hi... I'm... uh... who am I again?" "Wait... you... don't know who you are?" I start to panic. "I am forgetful sometimes." She says smiling. "Oh yeah! My name is Sora." "Sora...? That's it?" "No, my name is Tachibana, Sora but you can just call me Sora!" She says smiling. Tachibana... that name soun- That's Ayu's last name! Come to think of it, she looks alot like her execpt she has long hair instead of white. "You wouldn't happen to have a sister named Ayu would you? "Why yes! How did you know that? Wait... don't tell me... are you Yoshino?" She asks with exceiment.
We sat there talking for awhile. "So... do you know why Ayu hasn't been coming to school recently?" "Huh? She didn't tell you?" "Tell me what?" "She moved." "What?!" "Yeah, she moved." "Why?" "Well when I say moved, I mean she is visting our mother, just like how am visting my father." "Oh" What a relief "You see our parents got divorced when we were younger, so every once in awhile we vist the other parent. And before Ayu moved here, she lived in kyoto." "Ohhhh... wait don't you guys ever get to see each other?" "Nope, I haven't seen Ayu in 10 years." "That's so sad!" I check my watch. "Oh! I am sorry, but I have to go. Are you staying at Ayu's house, or are you staying at a hotel?" "Ayu's" "Oh then how about I stop by later and we can talk?" "Okay!" "Okay, bye!" "Bye!"
*Riiinnnggg*
"Hey wanna go get something to eat? I'm starving!" "Sorry, but I can't Sakura. I am going to... a friend's house. In fact you should come along." "Really? Do you think she will care?" "Not at all!" "Okay then."
*Knock Knock*
"Ah Yoshino! Oh and who is this?" "This is Sa-" "Woah! Ayu I didn't know you grew your hair out?" Sora laughs. "I'm sorry but I am not Ayu, I'm her sister Tachibana, Sora but you can call me Sora." "Oh! I didn't know Ayu has a sister." "Yeah, I live in Kyoto with our mother. We vist our other parent every once in awhile." "Wow. And Ayu?" "We haven't seen each other in 10 years, but we do text each other every day." "Oh wow!" "Would you like to come in?" "Of course!" We talked until it got dark.
"Bye Sora!" "Bye!" "Oh wait, do you know when you are leaving?" "The day after the next. "What?! That's not enough time, we can't get to know you in that amount of time." I reply with sadness "So that means that Ayu will be coming that day though?" "Yes." "Well, I guess it can't be helped, tomorrow we are going to introduce you to my brother and his girlfriend. Then, we are going to the mall and then have a sleep over (without Makoto of course) and then the day after the next we will throw you a goodbye party and a welcome home party for Ayu." "Oh no please don't waste your time and money on me." "No, it's okay. My brother Makoto will pay for EVERYTHING." "R-really? All of it?" "Yep" "Wow... he sounds like a great guy!" Sora says with a smile. "Oh no, not you too!" "Huh?" "My brother has this harem going and it's pissing me off!" "Oh... I'm sorry..." "Don't be, just don't fall in love with my brother. It is for your own good." "O-oh okay, will do." "Goodnight Sora!" "You too!" She replys closing her door.
Me and Sakura decide to figure out how to convince Makoto to pay for all of it. "Hmm... You could tell him you'll pay him back?" "Sakura it isn't nice to tell lies. Oh you could seduce him, and sleep with him as a bribe to pay for it?" "As tempting as it is, no." "Whaaa? You wanna... you know...?" "No I am just kidding!" Sakura laughs "Phew.... I thought you really wanted to." "Nope, well unless you're okay with it, then I will gladly." "Gross!" I say in disgust. "Well I can't think of any ideas." "Oh I got!" "What?" "I'll force him into it with black-mail." "Huh?" "I won't tell Kaede where his porno mags are if he agrees." "Makoto is into that kind of stuff?" "Yup! In fact he would pretty much die if Kaede found out about them. She would most likely burn and then say something like "You can't look at any other girl besides me! Plus I would have done any of this stuff if you asked me." or something like that." We both pause for a moment... and then break out laughing. "Pwahahahahahahahahaha! It's so funny because it's true!" "I know right!" Sakura replys trying her hardest not to cry from laughing. "Well I should be getting home." "Same." "Bye, have a good night." "You too." "And hopefully black-mail works because I don't want to lie to our new found friend." "It will, don't worry."
I walk in the door, take off my shoes and try to find food. I don't find anything after what felt like forever (Which was actually 2 minutes) I go to bug Makoto to see if he has any food that I can have. I open his door to see him and Kaede sleeping. Kaede next to Makoto using him as a body pillow, (Both dressed) and the end of Makoto's favorite movie playing. I take a look around and find some of his snacks laying there. I decide to eat them... all of them. "Makoto! Psst Makoto!" "H-huh? What? Oh." "Makoto I need you to do me a favour." "No." "Please!" "No!" "If you don't, I'll tell Kaede were your porno mags are." "What? I don-" "Yes you do, they are under your bed in a box labeled home videos, because nobody cares about those." "Okay fine! What is it?" "Pay for Sakura, me and our new friend's clothes and pay for 2 parties." "WHAT?! No way! I am not a bank!" "Kaede! Hey Kaede wake up!" "OKAY FINE! Just please, Don't tell Kaede." "Okay, sign here, here, and here." He signs the paper I pulled out of my back pocket. "Okay, can I go back to sleep now?" "Yes" I poke Kaede and she awakes. "Huh?" "Makoto's porno mags are under his bed in a box labeled home videos, because nobody cares about those." Her eyes turn to flames as she turns to Makoto. "Hey you said you wouldn't tell her! Deals off!" "To late, I already have your signiture and this piece of paper." I say holding it up. "Have a good night you two. Oh and try to keep down the moaning. I don't like hearing Makoto's screams of pain, too girly for me." I close the door but re-open it. "Oh and I ate all of your snacks." I close the door and head to my room. What a dummy huh? I get a text for Yuuta. "Hey, I know it's late but I wanted to see what you were up to." "Hi, I'm not doing anything besides trying to fall asleep." "Oh did I disturb you?" "No, not really?" "Okay cool." We text for awhile until I feel like I am gonna pass out. "Okay, have a good night I love you." Yuuta just said he loves me... I pause "You... do?" "Of course! I have wanted to say that since we first met." I don't know how to reply. "I... love you too." He goes to bed right after that. Does he... really love me? I put my hand to my heart. I close my eyes and fall asleep. What an eventful day huh?
