Blood was streaked and splattered on the floor, walls, and ceiling. It was quite a lovely little improvement to the small, once white, living room. I enjoyed the new look of the room and I took a minute to study it as my victim crawled into a new room, thinking she could escape me. The blood reminded me of full bloomed ibid flowers. I shook my head, getting myself to focus on my victim and not the blood.
I couldn't help but laugh as I followed the blood trail. It was like the little trail was begging me to find her. Then I found her, she was crying, begging me not to hurt her anymore. Her tears starting to stain her face and she had blood all over her night gown. Her left hand was also bloody from trying to stop the bleeding from me dismembering her right arm with Etaos. I came down to her level and sat on the balls of my feet. She was hiding her face from me, but I took Etaos and placed him against her throat, making her lift her head and look at me and Etaos. I always forget how well blood and tears mix until I see it again, I thought with a smile on my face.
Then she yelled at me, "What do you want from me?! And what is that horrible thing that's attached to your arm?!"
I laughed again and pressed Etaos against her throat a little harder, drawing blood, "This here, Alice, is my trusted companion, Etaos. He's actually dumping some pain killers into your bloodstream at this moment. It will slow the bleeding for a bit, but that's because I want to talk a little bit."
I then picked her up after a few minutes later, knowing she couldn't struggle now cause the pain killer numbed and paralyzed her body. I placed her on the closest bed, laying her on her back and crossed her arm across her chest. I then sat beside her and started playing with her soft, long brown hair.
"So Miss Rose," I said in a over cheerful voice, "Why do you think I'm doing this? I mean, you've only met me once. So what reason do I have?" I grinned, showing no pity or mercy about playing with someone's life. I grinned a little more, knowing she couldn't answer me.
I cupped my hand and Etaos around her face. She was cool to the touch and her warm brown skin was more now ashen from losing so much blood. Even her baby blue eyes looking even a little gray now, "Don't worry Alice. See, me actually killings you don't actually "kill you", just your body. I'm going to explain this the best I can, see you'll actually be trapped inside me. No one but the four other people I've killed, Etaos, and of course me will be able to hear your cute little screams."
I covered her up some with the blankets trying to warm her up some, "I don't know what the hell I am really. I may be some human with a curse, or a demon who is trying to be human," I started slowly letting out some of the thoughts on my mind.
"Even my parents didn't know everything about our curse. And do you realize how frustrating it is not knowing why you are the way you are? Or why the curse effects you so much but almost not at all for your little sister..." I started to cry but quickly took a breath and let it out to control myself. I sometimes have trouble with myself, I don't know why but sometimes I confess my problems to my victims. It's not for them, it's for me...
I cleared my throat, "Well Alice, I wish we had more time." I kissed her forehead and stroked her hair and cupped her face again.
I sometimes question as I stare into my victims eyes if that I've become lost. Is my only reason for me killing these people because of my cravings? Or am I killing them because I'm afraid to be alone? Do I really enjoy killing these people? Having them haunt me? Each kill, putting another screaming, crying, begging voice in my head. Or am I power hungry? Trapping them inside me, only to be free the day I die.
Alice begun to move a little, the pain killer was starting to wear off. I could even hear and see her whispering, "No, please, please don't." Tears were still streaming down her face... If I don't want her to die in much pain, I better kill her now.
I kissed her head one more time, "I'm so, so sorry. I hope you can forgive me..." Then I rose back Etaos, "Please..." Then I swung down and closed my eyes as I heard her head topple onto the floor, "Please don't hate me."
I got what I needed and put it in my cooler. I then went back in the room and put her head with her body. I closed her eyes and I took the blanket and covered the body. I made sure to grab a small vial of her blood before leaving, and then silently got my stuff and headed home.
