First Person POV
"I just can't do this anymore. I just can't." I whispered to myself repeatedly shaking my head. This was too much for me. The people, the school, the cynical comments and the politics I lived within, ITS TOO MUCH FOR ME!I held out the palm to catch the tear that had escaped my eye. Why does this always happen to me? What did I ever to do anyone?
My mum always told me to be strong. Never to cry. And yet here I am sitting in the my dark room, weeping when others who got me in this state are enjoying their lives out there. Smiling, probably laughing and living without any burden of this sort.
I stood up and walked over to my window. Looking outside, I saw a couple of kids from my school, same year level as mine. Laughing and cracking jokes. Suddenly anger, jealousy and resentment filled me. Without second thought I punched the window in front of me with all the strength I had.
Everything went into slow motion as I watch the glass shatter. Little pieces embed in knuckles. Most of the pieces fell outside, the sound scaring the teens outside.I watched them run and a smile spread on my face for the first time in years. The adrenaline rush from the pain was great. I loved the crimson blood against my pale skin.
Suddenly the room started getting hazy and my throat started burning. I slowly bought a hand up to my neck to sooth the pain but instead I felt an object sticking out of my skin. Glass. It was there. Lodged into my neck. Blood flowed down my neck and was absorbed by my shirt.I smiled in satisfaction. Finally, my suffering was over. I took one last breath before I drifted into endless darkness.
