"Aria, wake up! You don't want to bee late for you first day at your new school!'
"Yeah Mom, because starting a new school is hard enough, but starting in the middle of the school year is way worse.'
"Oh you'll do fine fun," my Mom says walking out of my room. Ugh, she's unbelieveable.
(At school)
"Ah Miss. Sanders, welcome to Portrey High School. I hope you have an easy time around here."
"Uh, yeah. Sorry my asking but, what's your name again? I'm not too good with names."
"Mrs.Wilkinson, but you can call me Mrs.W. Most people do because it's easier to pronounce."
"Okay, thanks. Um, one more thing, would you be able to show me to my locker? '
"Mrs.Hoades would glady show you to your locker, as well as the classes you need help finding as well.'
"Thanks, where is she," I ask as she's just about top shut her office door. "Turn around.'
I turn around to be greeted by a short, chubby woman probably in her thirties. I figured she was Mrs.Hoades, I was right.
"Mrs.Hoades?" I hope I didn't sound too too scared and nervous. I just can't help myself, I don;t know anyone so I guess it's okay.
"Yes dear, how my I help you?'
"I need help to my locker and my homeroom. Locker 576 and Mr.Helfer's class."
"I'm glad to help," she say walking out of the office into the hallway. As we walk down the hall, I could feel the stares eating away at the back of my head. I hate being the new girl, having to start somewhere new. It sucks.
(In class)
I walk into my homeroom, and the first thing I notice is an amazingly gorgeous boy.
"Hey," he said turning around to meet my eyes, "I'm Luke, Luke Morrison. You must be, Aria?" His voice was so mezmerizing that it took me a second to realize that I was just standing there, satring at him.
"Yeah, that's me!' Wow, I just sounded really dumb, too late now!
"Haha, I'll be showing you to your classes and just around the school today. I don't usually do this, but we have mostly all the same classes so I won't be going out of my way."
"Really," I said trying not to show how excited I was, "That's nice of you, thanks."
"No problemo."
"Uh, one more thing, where should I sit?"
"There's an open seat next to me. Second to last row, third seat over."
"Okay cool." I say walking back to my seat. I can't help but feel happy that I'm sitting next to him. He's really the only person I know here so, maybe he'll introduce me to his friends. I could only hope.
(At home)
I couldn't consentrate on my homework that night. I just layed in bed thinking about everything that happened today trying to grasp my mind around all the new stuff. There's Luke, the Teachers, Luke, and Luke. Wait, stop it Aria. I barely know him and I can't get my hopes up, he's way out of my league. Beautiful boys like him don't associate with girls like me. He only talked to me because he got stuck showing me around. I bet if he hadn't had to show me around, he wouldn't have said one word to me. Yeah that's it. Just forget about him.
(School the next day)
I walk into school, and for the second day in a row I got menacing stares at the back of my head. Then I see Luke at the end of the hall, girls surrounding him. Laughing, flirting, and trying to touch him every chance they got. Sluts, I wish they never exsisted. Luke see's me and he quickly pulled away from them and started walking to class. I couldn't help but blush, then I finally realized I was just standing there staring at Luke. Blushing I rushed to class.
"Um, hi Aria," Luke said kind of hesitant.
"Hi Luke, hows you girlfriends?'
"I don't have a girlfriend."
"Oh, that's kind of hard to believe."
"And why is that," he says with an annoyed tone. "Uh, sorry, I didn't mean to-"
"Mr.Morrison, would you like to share something with the class?'\
"No Mr.Helfer," he says turing red in the face.
