" Im scarred."
" What is there to be scarred about?" Keys asks.
" Slim look where we are."
" So? Be tough, just because you dont know anything about where we ae doesn't mean you have to be scarred. This place is home for tons of people and its also where they make money. To you its scary but to people like me its a blessing. This place right her is run by my Tia." She says before leading me inside. The building was painted blue with pale pink shingles.
" Karina!" The woman shrieks coming over giving her kisses on the cheek."quien es tu amiga?"
" Tia this is my friend Laney."
" Laney you are so pretty." She smiles hugging me. " She is so much better then Kathrine I can tell."
" Tia she isn't that kind of friend."
" Oh, well I still like you Laney."
" Thanks." I smile.
" What are you girls doing here?"
" Im showing her around es muy rica."
Her aunt starts cracking up." Of course, you girls want a snack?"
" Can we have some chips?" I ask.
" Yeah take what you want."
Keys smiles at me and grabs some candy and puts it in her pocket as I grab some chips.
" Bye Tia." We both say.
" I hope I see you again Laney, dont be a stranger."
" I wont." I yell before leaving the store. " Where to next."
" Lets go vist my hommies."
" Where are they?"
" They hang out at this place called Loca's."
" Loca's that sounds cool."
" I guess its just somewhere to eat and listen to music."
" So do you hang with awhole bunch of thugs?"
"Don't say that, we aren't thugs we just do what we got to do. Laney can u try not act so white."
" Its kind of hard because you know I am white."
" Alva is not a white last name."
" Okay so maybe I got some sketchy ancestors, who knows."
" Laney serioulsy watch what you do, they aren't scarred to whoop some ass."

We walk in silence to the little Corner restaurant called Loca's, we we enter everyone greets us. Well they greet Keys. She leads me to a booth at the pack of the restaurant by the stereo that is literally filled with people.
" Keys, whats up." says a boy with tons of tats." Who the sugar cookie?"
" This is Laney, Laney this is Shorty, Loveless, Bean,Lil, Valentine,Cecila and Coco."
Shorty is the boy with tons of tattoots, Bean and Valentine both of glisteing heads. Loveless, Cecila, and Coco are dressed like Keys and have tons of makeup on. Loveless has short hair unlike the rest of the girls.
" So are you back?"Lil questions.
" No just vistinting, I miss yall i go to a school filled with rich people its hard to find ride or die bitches."
