Curious as to what is down there, I open the door to see what's inside. As soon as I open the door, a putrifying smell hits all of our noses.
"Ugh!!" We all exclaim. The smell was almost unbearable.
"What's your medical diagnosis now?" Avi sasses at Kirstie.
"It fucking stinks." Kirstie answers.
With curiosity still peaking my interests, I have Kevin come down the stairs with me. As soon as I step on the second step, I feel it bend under my weight.
"Shit! Be careful Kevin. Theses steps are old and rotten."
"Like this whole freaking house??"
I fumble around and I find a light switch not far from the base of the stairs. I flip the switch only to find one light that glows above this door that looks like it'll lead is into another room.
"It smells like burnt hair." Kevin complains.
"I think it's from back there" I say pointing to the door.
As me and Kevin walk closer towards the door, the stench started to increase. I open the door and turn on the light. The sight that I saw was terrifying. We see an array of dead cats hanging from the ceiling.
"OHMYGOD!" Kevin whisper yells.
"What is this?"
"I don't know....witchcraft?"
"Who would do this?"
I see this old support beam in the middle of the room absolutely charred. What happened here??
"Scott....look." Kevin points to an object on the table in the middle of the room.

"Yeah. The smell will be gone in no time." Mitch reassures.
"Yeah, ok. And what about the voo-doo shit they did down there? Huh?!" Avi questions.
"No No. Voo-doo is more of dolls, personal artifacts, this is something different..."
"Kevin that's enough!" Kirstie interrupts.
"You shouldn't have touched anything from that basement." Avi whispers as he points to the object that me and Kevin brought from downstairs.
