Talk out you're feelings

Dear Princess Cream,

I know I have just sent out a letter to you yesterday but I have some fantastic news that I just can’t wait to tell you! First off, Prince Sonic came to my castle the other day and our parents are arranging a marriage! I’m so excited! We had a royal ball and he danced with me, although he didn’t look too happy about it himself. Maybe you can tell me more about him? But even though he wasn’t happy he let me have a good time, he’s super nice. After the ball I had gone to my room for the night but just as I was off to bed I spotted someone out the window. They we’re the black hawks from the South! At first I was really scared, but there was someone on their backs. And he came up to my room! (Not ‘legally’) he just suddenly appeared from nowhere!! It was the Prince from the South; his name is Shadow. And I was so scared; I mean you heard all the stories about what happens in the South and what he did to his own father! Of course I was scared, but I stood my ground! And I yelled at him too! But all he wanted to do was talk, and I found out that all those stories… are just stories! None of that is really true. Yes his father died but he didn’t kill him. And something about a step farther too because he was too young to take command over the kingdom, but even though he’s old enough now he said he doesn’t want to do it alone. He’s been pushed out of many kingdoms and don’t have many friends because everyone thinks he’s really evil. I feel sorry for him, he really isn’t so bad. And… not bad looking either if I do say so myself (teehee) Shhh, you can’t tell anyone about this. He’s about Sonic’s height, but dark as the night and a really tan muzzle. He’s built like a great god, muscles and nothing out of place, his eyes are like the red hot cherries of a fire, and red streaks his black quills like painted on by the most delicate work of art. And a white patch of feathery soft chest fur seduces anyone to be close just to cuddle into it. Execute me for describing more of the dark hot South Prince when I should be more into my now betrothed. (sigh)… but it is late now and I still have not gotten sleep. I shall await your reply my friend, and until next time be well.

After signing the letter I marked it with the royal ceil and called another messenger Chao to send it over to Cream. Exhausted from staying up and writing I finally settled in my bed quickly drifting off to sleep as I saw the early light of the first traces of the morning sun peeking over the grate hills. I knew I was going to be very tired when my servant’s came in to bring me breakfast; which seemed too fast. It felt just as I was in a dream they began to wake me up.

“Amy! Wake up child it’s morning! Have you fallen ill, you look like you hadn’t slept?” She shook me and placed her hand on my head.

“No I’m fine.” I groaned sitting up rubbing my still tired eyes as she placed a tray in front of me. I wasn’t really hungry so I had only taken a few bites of my breakfast and was again almost asleep when my teacher walked in.

“A sleepless night for you Princess?” He asked making me jump awake when he came by my bed.

“Oh was I asleep!? I’m sorry.” I looked around noticing the tray had been taken up for me.

“Maybe we should hold back the lessons for today? You do need rest; I understand that you might be a bit tired after the night’s events.”

“What!?” I gasped for a moment thinking he had been talking about my conversation with Prince Shadow.

“The ball, last night. Don’t you remember?” He said looking at me funny.

“Oh.” Of course the ball I assured myself no one but I and soon Cream would know of him, “Yes I am a bit tired. I apologize for the inconvenience and for you having to cancel the lesson.” I said bowing my head still in bed.
