Mewtwo the Trainer

Chapter 1

Before I knew what was going on, a flamethrower was shot at me! I leap into the air to dodge. Oh, my name is Shadow, but I'll get more into that later. I'm in the middle of a battle right now! "Salmance! Use Dragon Rage!" I shout. Salamance hits the Metagross, efficiently fainting it. "Good job, buddy!" Then I was warped back to reality. "Nice job out there, Shadow! I know you'll do great with a real Pokemon! Even though you are one, it's cool to be a trainer." That was my mentor, Professor Willow, talking. She is right, I am a Pokemon, made in a lab, and given a mega stone. I am a Mewtwo X, and today I get my first Pokemon to travel with! "Hey, Professor, what time is it?" I ask. "It's time to get your Pokemon! Follow me." I obliged and floated behind her. "Ok, pick the one that speaks to you!" She said excitedly. There were 3 pokeballs in front of me. I shifted my eyes between each one, and picked the left one. "Go, Pokemon!" I shouted. A little Growlithe tumbled out of the ball and yapped. "Is that the one you want?" Professor Willow asked. "Yeah, Professor. I'm going to name you... Blaze!" Blaze gave another little yap and ran around. "Hey Blaze, come here!" Blaze listened and came up behind me. "Shadow, have you seen Billy anywhere? It's his first day to get a Pokemon too." "Sorry, Professor, I haven't. I'll tell him to come over here when I see him." I float outside and saw Billy sprinting up. "Hey, Shadow! You got here early." I pondered that for a moment. "I guess I really wanted my Pokemon. Well, I'm going to wait on Route 172 for you. Bye!"

Finally, Billy got to Route 172. "What took you so long?" I asked. "Professor Willow took forever to get the pokeballs out. I don't think that she likes me..." Billy said. "Well, let's get started." We put one foot out and walk into a whole new place.
