A/N: This book changes perspectives between Owen, Brayden, and Olive throughout. At the beginning of every chapter, I will put whose perspective it's in. Thanks for reading!

I woke up to my phone ringing.  Who's calling this early in the morning? It's 5 o'clock on a Saturday! I thought as I rolled over and picked it up. "Hello?"

"Hey Owen, it's Carly."

"Oh, hey babe. What's up? Is everything okay?" I asked her, sitting up in my bed. She sounded like she'd been crying.

"Ya, everything's okay, I guess. I was just calling because, well I don't really know actually. I just wanted to talk to you," she said.

"Oh, okay. Do you wanna hang out today?" I asked her, kind of changing the subject. If we were going to talk, I wanted to do it in person.

"Sure, when?"

"Well, since we're both up, how about now?" I asked her.

"Now? Sure."

"Okay, I'll be over in 10 minutes," I told her.

"Okay, see you then," she said before hanging up.

I got out of bed and went to take a shower. When I got out, I got dressed in some jeans, sneakers, a t-shirt, and my varsity jacket. I crept downstairs as quietly as possible, trying not wake anyone up. If I did, I would probably get in trouble for "sneaking out." I left mom a note in the kitchen saying that I was going over to Carly's and that I didn't know when I was going to be home.

I grabbed my keys and my camera. I love photography and even more, I love taking beautiful pictures of Carly. My camera was full of them.

I went out the back door, since it was closer to the kitchen. I forgot that the door slams when it shuts if you don't shut it yourself, and when it slams, it's really loud. I looked up at the windows above it to see if any lights turned on. The good thing is, I come from a family of heavy sleepers, so no one did.

I jumped in my car and drove to Carly's house. When I got there, she was out on her front porch with her earbuds in and looking down at her phone. She must not have seen me pull up, because when I walked over to her, she jumped a little bit.

"Oh, hey. I didn't hear you pull up," she said as she put away her phone.

"Ya, I figured," I said back laughing a little bit. I sat down next to her on the porch and asked, "So what did you wanna talk about?"

"It's about my parents," she started, her voice hitching a bit, "I, I think that they're getting divorced."

"Oh, Carly," I said pulling her into a hug, "I'm so sorry." That's all I could say. Her parents seemed so happy, I wonder why they were getting divorced? She had two younger brothers too. What were they going to do about that?

"I don't even know why. They have been arguing a lot lately, but I didn't think anything of it," she said sobbing into my jacket.

"I'm sure everything will work out," I said, not really knowing.

"You're just saying that to make me feel better," she said with a little laugh.

"Well, yes, but I also think that everything will be fine," I said back, hugging her tighter.

After that, we got in my car and drove around town. We talked about random things ranging from college to puppies to the math test that stumped everyone on Tuesday. At about 7 o'clock, we stopped at a park nearby. As we sat down on one of the benches, my brother Brayden texted me.
