"Dammit! Stop your complaining!" she sips her drink from her red solo cup. There was a tense silence. 

"You're going to school tomorrow." she chugs the rest of her drink and smashes the cup on the coffee table. 

"Do you understand? " I slowly nod holding back the tears in my eyes. 

"Do you understand!?" She clutches my face with such a force i think she is going to break my jaw.  

I spit out a yes. 

"GOD. Was it that hard?!" I watch her stumble up the stairs, when i hear her door slam shut, i run to the bathroom. I open up the cabinet under the sink and push threw tons of my mom's hair products. I then remove my "box" from the way back. I take off the lid and take out a new pack of *XX Razors*. I am just about to pierce my skin with the blade when the doorbell rings.

I set my blade down. I open the door and Niall, Harry, Liam, Louis, Zayn, Chloe, and Zoe are standing in the doorway with their backpacks and 3 boxes of pizza.  

"HEY ELLIE!" Niall shouts.  

"NIALL! SHHHH!" I cover his mouth and push everyone back so i can step out side and close the door.  

"Oh sorry-" niall whispers. "Whats the big deal? I thought we were studying tonight?"  

"Yeah! I bought pizza!" Zayn holds up the boxes of pizza, which smelled like heaven. I face palm myself mentally, i forgot that we had planned to study for finals tonight at my house!  

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry guys! But my mom is asleep! I don't want to wake her up." They all knew that my mom was an aggressive drunk. I didn't even have to tell them, they just, knew. The worst thing about that? Niall knew. He meant everything to me, even though in his eyes, he only saw me as a best friend, nothing more, and nothing less.  

"Sorry guys! I have to rain check." I walk back into the house and sway with the door. Everyone groans, 

"Okay guys let ellie off the hook, she gets enough of this already." Chloe starts shoving everyone back to the car. She turns around and winks at me, i mouth *thank you* niall pushes through Chloe and comes up to me.  

"Hey ellie! Can i use your bathroom for a second?" He points into the house. 

"Oh um yeah!" I invite him in and he goes to the bathroom.  

I shut the front door and wait on the couch. 

He comes out and quickly waves to me and out the door he goes. I go back into the bathroom. I stand there in amazement. I forgot to put my razors away. Niall probably saw them. He saw everything.. I am the dumbest dumb person on earth.

NEXT DAY.

I meet up with the boys and Chloe and Zoe after school by the picnic tables. Niall was sick today, thank god.  

Harry pulls me over and starts to yell at me. 

"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?" 

"Whaaa?" The tension in his voice goes down a bit.
