Chapter 1

~Zendaya's POV

I woke up to the smell of breakfast downstairs. Yeah, I love food...
"Mmmm, bacon and eggs , my favourite" I said running down the stairs.
I entered the kitchen and saw mom on the stove and dad drinking coffee and reading his newspaper on the table.

"Good morning honey, ready for your first day?" Mom asked.

"Nahh, I prefer staying at home and watching movies the whole day" I joked

"Ha ha very funny young lady, go get ready or you'll be late " dad said.
I ran upstairs, not before taking a piece of bacon of course, to go get ready for school.

Today would be my first day at Crest Port High school and I was so not excited. I hate school. If it were up to me people would be born smart and wealthy. I wouldn't say my parents aren't rich because both of them are doctors. Yeah, I know what you thinking... and no, I don't not always get what I want- sad isn't it?

I got to my room and went to my bathroom to take a 15min shower. After taking care of my personal hygiene I went to my walk in wardrobe to find and outfit. I took my ripped white jeans and a Mickey mouse tank top. I went easy on my make up and applied a light pink lipgloss. I took one more look at myself in my full body length mirror ..."Perfect!"

I grabbed my back pack and ran downstairs.
"Bye mom! Bye dad!" I shouted over my shoulder. "Bye hon-"
*SLAM*
I closed the front door before they could finish...hehehe, I know, I'm evil.

I was walking to school while listening to music since the school is literally a 10min walk from my house. Suddenly I felt someone cover my eyes with their hands.

"Hey? Who is this? Really now, I'm not joking! Show yourself!" I said.

Finally the person let go and I turned around to see who it was,
"Hahahaha, girl why you so hyped up early in the morning?"

"Calvino!!" I gave her a tight hug.

"Can't. Breathe." she said.

I quickly let her go and she took a deep breathe. I laughed at her, mann I missed this chick.

Calvino and I have been friends since kindergarten, we basically grew up together. She is my sister from another mother. Our parents are both doctors and we used to live in Washington D.C when they got transferred to Chicago, we moved here a few months ago but she only arrived yesterday. Now we are going to the same school.

" Girl, D.C. wasn't the same without you, I really missed you Zee" she said

"Ncooo, I missed you too bestie" I said while hugging her again, this time I was more gentle.

"Sooo, you and Brent??" I asked while nudging her.

She first hesitated then she answered, " We broke up, he was cheating on me with that slut called Hannah" she said in a stern voice.

"Damn, that sucks hey...but don't worry, there are plenty fish in the sea...he's one out of 7 billion" I said while rubbing her back .

"Yeah, you right...you always know what to say to make someone feel better Zee"

"I know right? " I said while flicking my shoulders.

"Haha, whatever Miss show off...let's hurry or we will be late for 'the big day' she said while rolling her eyes.

"Hahaha, Cal stop being dramatic..."

"Since you asked me about Brent, let me ask you about your man" she said while wiggling her eyebrows.

"Don't even start with me girl" I warned her.

"Lol, you're still single am I right? "

"Well...Yeah I mean what's wrong with being single, I just don't feel like dating at the moment...but I can get any guy I want" . I was lying. I have never had a boyfriend in my whole life. I haven't been on date, I haven't had my first kiss and I'm still a virgin. But I'm happy...I am...or am I?
