Chapter 4

~Kevin's POV ~

"Hi princess, my name is Calvin" Calvin introduced himself. I looked at Zendaya who's eyes were bulging in disbelief and shock. I just stood there looking at her, I was beyond angry.

"Kevin, I'm so sorry- " I cut her off and started heading for my car. I could hear people mumbling and talking about what just happened but I didn't care. I just wanted to go home and forget all about what had just happened.

I reached my car and set it on drive. I could see Zendaya staring at me with tears in her eyes. I've never seen her cry before and I didn't want to now. I turned off the engine of my car and stared at her then memories of her on Taylon started to flood my mind. I started my car again and drove off. I hated her, and I didn't care. What was I thinking falling for her? She's not even worth it.

~Zendaya's POV~

I stared as Kevin drove off and I could tell by looking at him that he was disappointed in me. How could I have been so stupid? Kevin has been nothing but sweet to me since I started my new school. Calvino and him are the only friends I have, but I guess it's just Calvino and I now.

"Hey, how about we head home now?" I looked to see Calvino smiling sympathetically at me. I hate it when people pity me.

"Yeah, let's go" I simply said. We started walking to where Raj had parked his car then I saw Calvin standing with a girl who I assumed was his girlfriend. I walked over to him leaving Calvino who was standing there confused. I approached them and asked to speak to Calvin in private, she smilled then walked over to her friends.

"Hey Calvin, I'm Zendaya" I introduced myself. He smiled at me.

"Nice to meet you. What happened back there?" He asked.

"Long story" I simply said, hoping that he'd take the hint and drop the subject.

"I see, so what brings you to talk to me" he said.

" Oh uhm, I wanted Kevin's number. I really need to apologize to him" I said.
He took his phone out of his pocket and started to scroll down his contact list.

"Ok, get your phone out" he said. After he was done calling out the digits I thanked him.

"The pleasure is all mine, but can I have yours...just in case" I was confused for a few seconds by what he meant by 'just in case' but gave him my number.

"Thanks" he said while smiling. I nodded.

"You're welcome, catch ya later" I said while walking over to where Calvino was standing. She was so engaged in her phone that it worried me for a second.

"What's the matter?" I asked, ignoring the fact that I startled her.

"Nothing" she quickly said. I examined her weird facial expression when she started pulling my arm.

"Raj is waiting for us in the car, we have to hurry" she said, still pulling me like a five year old. I finally pulled free from her grasp.

"Ok, tell me what's wrong" I said. Calvino was acting weird and when she acts like this there's usually something she's not telling me.

"I already said it's nothing, let's just get to get to the car" she said. She started walking over to where Raj had parked his car. We both got in. She sat next to Raj and alone at the back. After a few seconds we were on road.

Calvino and Raj were talking to each other like I wasn't even there; it did worry me a bit but I eventually got over it. All that was in my mind now was Kevin. Kevin. Kevin. Kevin. I desperately had to speak to him today or else I wouldn't sleep in peace. I grabbed my IPhone 5 out of my pocket and searched for Kevin's number. I was about to press the call button when I realized that I wasn't alone. I sighed and put back in my pocket, I was tired and all I wanted was to get home and sleep.
