"Trapped in my own world," she started, "not good but bad."

Her piercing blue eyes gazed over all her classmates as she spoke softly, but bold. Her classmates faces had sorrow and sympathy written all over their faces, exactly what she didn't want.

"When will the nightmares begin and when will they end?" her face disappears as quickly as it appeared in her thoughts. She wipes the tears that roll down her face and takes a shaky but deep breath in and continues.

"All alone with no one by my side, what happened to family and friends who stayed close by," negative thoughts overwhelmed her. The piece of paper in her hand floats to the ground.

Everything about that day was depressing, but it wasn't normal depressing. This depressing was completely different; it was a feeling she couldn't describe. The entire melancholic atmosphere directly affected her from all the black clothes to the tears from the immediate family.

The tears sparkling in her small light blue eyes as she looked around at the mourning individuals. She was too young to understand the concept.

"Why is Mommy sleeping?" the little girl questioned, her gaze focused on the ground, trying to avoid the depression around her.

"Just a little tired," he whispered as his voice cracked. He wouldn't shed a tear, at least not in front of his daughter.

As they lowered her mother's coffin, she realized that she would never see her again. Neither of them would. This was it; this was the last time she and her father would ever see her again.

After the event was over, she had a different perspective on life. She realized that she took not only her life for granted, but also the lives of those important to her. Death was not just an end stage of a person; it goes beyond the boundaries of one's life. It affects and haunts all those who are both directly and indirectly associated with the person.

The air surrounding her gets thicker and it's harder to breathe. Her fingers fumble together and she is lost for words.

"I....uh...uh," tears fall carelessly to the ground as she tears off heading outside.
