Rose

Holiday vacation finally came and a bunch of people left except for my cousins, and everyone representing Hogwarts. The common room is next to empty expect for Alice and I sitting by the fire place. James, Lily, and Fred went to go explore with Dominique.
"They are so going to get themselves in trouble," Alice says.
"They can't help it they are the kings and queens of pranksters," I say flipping a page of Curses and Counter Spells. Alice nods and goes back to writing her essay for Transfigurations.

"Rose! Alice! Big find!!!" James says running in with Freddie, Lily, and Dom behind him.
"What?" I say looking up from my book.
"This," Lily says holding out a blank piece of paper.
"Whoa parchment," Alice says sarcastically.
"I solemnly swear I'm up to no good," Freddie says tapping it with his wand.
"I stole it from my dad's office it's a map of the school with secret passages," James says.
"It's truly amazing we can get from here to Hogsmeade!" Dominique says.
"We can thank the Marauders," Lily says beaming.
"You guys are crazy," I say smiling as they run out of the portrait hole.

Alice and I walk down with Albus and Scorp to dinner.
"My dad said tonight is when the Beauxbatons and Drumstrang's are coming," Alice says as we enter the dining hall. The room is filled with Christmas decorations, streamers with holly and mistletoe, and the usual 12 Christmas trees with glistening stars. It was truly magnificent even the smell, the scent of freshly baked cookies, is amazing.

After dinner we all walk back to our common room. I sit in my usually spot in front of Alice and next to Lily. Clementine hops into my lap and I pet her.
"Scorpius hates that cat so much," Alice says tending to Trevor Jr.
"Not my fault," I say, scratching behind her ear. We walk out of the common room and into the hall. Clementine follows behind Alice and me. I hear Clementine hiss before I run into nothing but fall on the ground. Albus's head appears along with Scorpius's.
"Ugh," I say getting up and Clementine circles them hissing.
"Get a hold of her," Scorp says and I frown picking up Clementine.
"Oh please Scorp, She doesn't mean harm," I say.
"That cat is evil!" Scorpius explains and I kick his shin which is hidden.
"Don't hurt the cloak," Albus says taking it off, "Alice why aren't you stopping them." I mole tell ignore them and turn to Scorpius.
"She has feelings!" I say.
"Yea feelings of killing," Scorpius says.
"Ok so Clementine tries to kill your owl one time and everything changes," I say.
"He has a good point," Alice mumbles.
"Not helping," I say, "I'll see you guys later." I head off to the library and set down Clementine and she follows me.
I really need quite time so I could read about the Animagus. The assignment was almost too easy because all four of us are trying to become Animagus, and I'm close to finding it out. Just need to figure out what will not kill us. I pull out my Transfigurations book and finish my essay. Maybe it will help me figure out the method.
"Miss Weasley it's time for you to leave," the librarian reminded me and I packed up my stuff. Clementine walks to the door and paws at it as I open it. Sitting outside, asleep is a light- blonde boy. A small smile appears on my face and I slightly kick him.
"Wake up," I say and he shudders waking up.
"Huh," Scorpius says as I help him up.
"You waited out here, for me," I say and he nods. "Thanks."
"Night Rosie," he says as I walk to Gryffindor common rooms.
The rest of the days rushed by with studying, practicing Quidditch, and just everything leading up to Christmas.

"Rose! Wake up, wake up! It's Christmas!!!!!" Alice says, jumping on my bed. I open my eyes to see Clementine on Nim's bed and Alice standing on my bed.
"I'm up," I say getting up and pushing her off my bed.
"Oi," she says falling on the ground. On our trunks a couple parcels sit. I get up and grab one of the big ones. Ripping the paper off a red sweater with gold R on it of course made by Grandma Weasley.
"Oh I got one too," Alice says holding up a Blue sweater with a red A.
"She always makes extras," I say with a smile. I open one from my parents and my dad gave me a new set of Wizard Chess and my mom got me some new books.
"Merry Christmas," Alice says and hands me a small package. I smile and hand her one in return. Inside the box is a gold rose necklace,"Alice," I say giving her a hug as she puts on her wand ring. After opening all my presents I go back though them. Uncle George gave me a bunch of joke stuff from his store, Uncle Harry and Aunt Ginny gave me a Holyhead Harpies jersey and a Snitch necklace. Uncle Bill and Aunt Fleur got me this really cool Enchanted pouch that can hold anything and not have it stolen, while Uncle Charlie got me a fake dragon egg ring, and Uncle Percy gave me a family picture and an extra frame.
"Wow a big family means lots of presents!" Alice says in awe.
"Alice I still have to open some presents from my cousins and that also means giving presents in return," I say with a laugh. I still had one present left and I rip it open. A note lays inside it says:
Hey Rose,
How's it going at Hogwarts? Big news Professor McGonagall has hired me to be DADA Professor for next term. I can't wait to see all of the family at the Yule Ball enjoy the gift. Merry Christmas From, Teddy Lupin
I move the letter out of the way and find a brand new Gryffindor Quidditch varsity jacket. "Woah Teddy," I say, pulling it on.
"Woah Teddy is right," Alice says. On the back it had Weasley and my number, 9 on it with the Gryffindor colors.
"I wonder how he got it he was a Hufflepuff," I say shocked. I change into my sweater and jeans with boots and Alice changes into the first thing she can find. Pulling on my Jacket I gather all my stuff and put it in my trunk. Alice and I grab our gifts to the guys and walk to the library. Scorp and Al are already sitting at a table. Clementine jumps up on the table as I tie a red bow around her. "She's going to kill you if you keep that on her," Alice says and I smile. Albus is wearing his grey Weasley sweater and Scorpius wearing his green one.
"Grandma Molly made you one too," I point out with a smile. We exchange gifts and I open Albus's first. A simple picture of Scorpius and I is sitting in it. Then I open Scorpius's it's a new quill and his snake ring around it.
"The ring your dad gave you you're first year here?" I ask and he nods.
"Woah," I say. We talk until lunch then head to the Dining Hall. Alice and I talk to Fred and James while eating our soup.
"We better get going I'll see you guys at the Yule Ball," Alice says to Scorpius and Albus after lunch. We head up to our dorm and I put the picture of Scorp and I in the frame Uncle Percy gave me and set it on my nightstand next to the family picture. "Some picture you got there," Alice says and I smile.
I pull out some books and start reading them while petting Clementine.
"I'll stop you at 6:30 to get ready," Alice says as she pulls out some of the stuff she got.
