"Anong balita?" My friend, Karlos walks in the room with a lot of groceries. We share the same apartment in school. I study at a big university. And yes, I am a scholar. I like sports such as basketball and soccer.
"Ayun. Ganun parin. Ikaw, anong balita?" I ask him back as he sits on the other side of the sofa.
"Melissa and I broke up." He said as he rolled his eyes on me. That's when I realized that I was smirking.
"What's new, bro? Palagi naman kayong nag bre-break up, ah! Kaya, don't expect me to be shock." I blurted out as he sighs exhaustedly.
"But this. This is serious. Break na talaga kami. And it's because, I think I'm in love with someone else. Her name is Kath." He explains unhappily.
"Sorry, bro. Pero, parang mali naman yung ginawa mo." I saw him gripped his hand. His face was turning red. HIS WHOLE FACE.
"Bro, di ko naman kasalanan na mahal ko si Kath! And I don't care if you think I'm stupid to let Melissa go! But what I really care about is Kath!" He shouts.
I nod at him and made my way straight to my room. I know that he wants to be alone by this time. But who is that Kath? Bakit ba nababaliw yung kaibigan ko sakanya?
