It'll Get Better

Alexa's POV

It was the day of the burial and i know i'm going to be a total wreck. I walked out of the bathroom and had on a black skin tight dress. I curled my brownish black hair then i walked downstair were everyone else was.

" Hi Alexa, you ready to go?" asked Jay. I nodded my head then we walked to the car and we headed to the church. We got there and I was asked to make a speach by my mom which i really was honored to do but i don't know how i was going to make it. We sat down and I had Nathan and Tom next to me. Tom and Siva's girlfriends flew in yesterday to come and support Jay so they where there too.

" Alright would Alexa like to come give her speech?" asked the preist. I was almost crying so i had to walk up and hold in my tears.

" Ashton was more of a brother to me he was also my bestfriend. I remember when him, my other brother Jay, and I we would always hang out. They would both take care of me and take me place. I remember the days when Ashton would take me over to his friends or out for ice cream whenever our parents weren't home." i said starting to get chocked up.

" Ashton taught me a lot when i was little. I've never have lost someone like this. When i saw Ashton come down when I was on that boat i... just..." i said holding in my tears but they started to come.

" I knew it was going to be hard if anything happen which i was hoping not but it did. We were on the rope together and i remeber when we saw it breaking... i knew it was going to end well. He said he loved me. Aston said he'd always be there to protect me and he was..." i said now bawling my eyes out. Jay came up and helped my walk down before i collasped. I was crying into his chest i couldn't hold it anymore. I sat down and bawled into his chest.

" shhh... sweetie..shhhh. it's gonna be okay, it's going to be okay." he said trying to comfort me while rubbing my back. After the funeral we went to eat and i sat with Nathan, Tom, Max, Kelsey, Nareesha, Siva, and Jay. I wasn't really eating anything i wasn't in the mood.

" Alexa, Jay can you come here for a moment." asked my mom. We got up and walked over to her.

" Do you remember Brian, Andy, and Mark? You guys would hang out 24/7 when you were younger" asked my mom pointing to three boys about Ashton and Jays age. I remember exactly who they were i couldn't forget memories i had of them.

" Little Alexa. How are you? I haven't seen you in forever! I remember when you were a little thing now look how grown up you got." said Mark giving me a hug as i hugged him back

" I'm good. Yeah i'm 16 now i'm going into my Junior year next year." i said giving him a weak smile. I was in no mood to talk to them right now.

" Well it was great to see you. Here's our number text us sometime so we can catch up." said Andy giving me all three there number. I put them in my phone but i'm pretty sure i will never call them. I walked back over to the table while Jay was still chatting with them.

" Old friends?" asked Tom.

" Yeah.." i whispered. I would have never thought i would have saw them here i mean this day was already pretty bad but seeing them made it so much worse. Before i knew it i started day dreaming again

Day Dream:

The 8 year old girl was crying and crying. The guy that was about 16 was hitting her and pulling her hair. She was laying on a bed with two other men next to the one that was hitting her.

" Hey man that's enough, we don't want to give her any bruises that are noticable." said the one. He stopped hitting me and then the other guy grabbed her she cuddled into his chest.

" Baby, remember what i told you just close your eyes and think of a happy place." he said brushing the hair our of her face. She nodded her head then he laid her down on the bed.

She started screaming and screaming it hurt so bad. The porblem is this happens 2 times a week.

Day Dream Over.

Tom's POV

I could see Alexa's eye she was doing horrible. I felt so bad i mean I love her but not like that. I love her like a little sister. I told Kelsey about her and told her how i think something happened between her, Jay and Ashton when they were little. When we were sitting down waiting for everyone to leave.

" Alexa, you okay?" i asked. She was sitting and just had tears rolling down her face.

" Oh yeah umm.. sorry i'm fine i was just thinking." she said wiping her tears.

" Okay, well i think it's time to go." i said helping her up and walking her to the car. I sat in the car with her Nathan and Kelsey. Jay drove with the other and we decided to stop get food because none of us really ate.

" Hey, after school tomorrow how about you and I go shopping?" Kelsey whispered over to Alexa. Alexa looked over and  nodded her head with a weak smile on her face.

" Yeah i'd like that. Thank you." she said. I smiled back at them then we pulled up to McDonalds we got chicken nuggets and fries. We ate on the way home then when we got home we all went to our rooms but i saw Alexa sitting there in her room getting a photot album then she walked in Ashtons room. Jay's parents were still staying at there grams till we leave but what Alexa doesn't know is that she is coming with us ordered from her parents.

" Hey, what are you looking at?" i asked walking into the room.

" Oh hi, um just looking at some old pictures." she said. I walked over and she scooted over for me to sit with her.

" You know i can remember when all of these were taken." she said. She pointed to a picture of her doing a back hand spring and Jay standing spotting her.

" This picture was when i was learnign my back hand spring. I was scared i was going to land on my head so Jay stood behidn me and made sure i didn't fall which i didn't" she said.

" You guys look happy." i said smiling.

" We were happy..." she trailed off. She started to tear up and little so i gently pulled her in my chest.

" it's okay sweetie, it's get better..." i said whispering to her.

" Tom?" she asked still crying.

" Yeah babygirl?" i asked looking down at her.

" Will you sing a song to me?" she asked.

" Any song is perticular?" i asked rubbing her back.

" Can you sing You Are My Sunshine?" she asked crying. I smilied thinking of how i was little and my mom would sing that to me.

" You are my sunshine

My only sunshine

You make me happy when skies are grey

You'll never know dear how much i love you

Please don't take my sunshine away." I finished the song and looked down to see her sleeping peacefully in my chest. I could see she was exhausted from crying so much. I gently climbed out of her spot and then i went to the guest room to where i am staying with Kelsey because are rooms got switched since the girlfriends are here.

" I can see in her eyes Kels there is something more then just having her brother die." i said being said to see this girl so broken.

" I know i can tell too i'll try to help her tomorrow." she said climbing into bed with me. I just want this girl to be happy and i know one other member in the band that would love to change that too and that memeber is Nathan Sykes.

I know nothing really good is happening yet but it will get better in the next two chapters! I promise!
