I pushed myself on the bed. My long brown was in my face. I was so tired. I looked down at my shirt and saw the blood of last night's victims. I sighed. "How did this happen?" I asked myself. Every night this happens. Yet I can't stop it. I looked on my bed desk and saw the bloody knife. I shook my head and turned on my t.v. "Last night at least 15 people got killed. One person got severly injured. She said the man had long black hair and his mouth was cut into a smile," The news reporter said. "Each night there are killings. Do you think this killer will be stopped?" I turned of the t.v. "Maybe I should just run away from home... No my parents will worry..." I thought. "Jeffery! Come down here!" My mother called. I slipped on my hoodie and ran downstairs to see Father and her sitting on the couch. "Yes mother?" I asked. She was silent. "How would you feel about moving?" Father said, blankly. "M-moving?! Why would we move?!" I asked. I loved this house more than anything. If we moved I could never face my parents again. "Well you know about the murders happening around here right?" Mother asked. "Um...yes..." I replied. "Well that's the reason why we're moving," Father said. "N-no! I'm not okay with it!" I shouted. "Jeffery, there is no need to shout," Mother said, quietly. "Actually there is a need to shout! I need this house... We need thisn house! This place has so many memories!" I yelled. "Jeffery, we're moving and that's final!" Father shouted. I flintched. "George..." Mother said. I didn't need to hear anymore. I ran upstairs crying. "Why Mother?! Why Father?! I won't leave! This is my house!" I screamed. I jumped on my bed and cried in my pillow. My door opened. "Jeff... are you okay?" A soft voice called. I looked to see who it was and it was my mother. "What?" I asked. "Someone's here for you..." She said ,softly. She left and my friend Lilith walked in. "Hey Jeff," She said, sitting on my bed. "Hey Lil..." I said with my face buried in my pillow. "I heard about your big move..." She mumbled. "Yeah... I am so upset about it," I said, facing her. "Don't be so sad about it! I will visit you every day!" She said, smiling. Her smile was so cute. "So...um... Do you know where you are moving to?" She asked. "Uh I think 204 Maple lane," I mumbled. "That isn't that far away!" she exclaimed. "Well yeah... but it won't be the same..." I murmered. I looked down at my feet. She grabbed my face and made me look at her. "Don't be sad! Please smile! It makes me happy when you do!" She said. I looked at the clock. 7:45 pm. "Um Lilith... Isn't it time for you to go home?" I asked. I wanted her to leave before it happened. "Oh my mom said I could stay th night tonight!" She said, happily. "Oh no..." I thought. I saw my hand turning pale. "Lilith you need to go. Now!" I yelled. "Why?" she asked. "Because.... We need to pack up!" I said. "Oh can I help?" she asked. "Um no because....." I was trying to think of a reason. Soon my arm was pale. "Look. I'm fine with helping you. I'll do anything for a friend!" She smiled. "Leave...now..." I said. I could feel my smile grow larger. "Jeff? Is something wrong?" She asked. I giggled creepily. "Jeff stop it... you're scaring me!" she exclaimed. It was now 8:00 pm. My hair started turning black. I felt the urge to grab the knife on my dresser. "Run now!" I yelled. She ran down the hallways. I grabbed the knife and ran after her. I ran like an animal. "You know sleeping is very good for your health! I suggest you go to sleep!" She ran downstairs and out the door. I could feel the blood dripping from my mouth. "Oh Lilith please don't run!" I said, darting out the door. "Jeff this isn't like you!" She screamed. "Because it isn't me..." I said, appearing in front of her. "No!" she screamed. I then stabbed her in the chest. "Sh.... Go to sleep..." I murmered.
