"Mom?" I wake up, hearing screams and cries from outside the palace.
I heard no response so I went out of bed and went outside my room.
"Don't! Please, don't hurt her!" A familiar voice pleaded.
Mom? I thought.
I was curious and went towards the voice. Each step, cries and screams get louder. "Give me your relic and no one gets hurt, except you of course," A voice evily cackles.
As I get closer, I see the scene happening infront of me. My mom and the high priest of O'khasis by the gate of the palace, next to a... portal? It wasn't activated but there was a clear vision/sight of another dimension.
The question is, which dimension?
"The fire won't stop unless you hand me that-" Zane stops and looks at me. His smirk widens and it send chills down my spine. "Daughter of yours."
"Never!"
