I woke up in my freezing cold bed in Ireland that Monday morning. I tried to warm myself with my covers but my brother, Noah, came in seconds later, forcing them out of my grasp. My brother and I share a house because he lost his house a year ago due to a fire. Me, being the caring girl I am, allowed him to stay with me until he found a house of his own. "Get up! You have an hour before you need to be at college!" He started to shake my arm. I pretended to be asleep, hoping that he'd go away. Instead, he used my arm and gently slapped me on the face. He didn't stop and got harder and harder as he went on. Soon it got to the point where my cheek started to burn... "Ok..Ok.. I'll get up!" I moaned in my sleepy voice. He laughed and walked out my room.

As he left I headed to my closet to find some clothes. I pulled on a black cropped sweater, denim jeans, white ankle socks, black vans and a swag beanie that said: Killin' It (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=184788079).

I looked into the mirror by my bed and stared at myself. Was I overdressed? Was I trying too hard to look good? Questions flooded my mind... I really wanted to look good on my first day... I looked at my long light brown hair and I stared into my brown eyes... Would people like me?

Enough questions! I walked away from my mirror and saw Noah in the kitchen on his phone. I crept in. "What ya doing?" I asked him, trying to see over his shoulder. He looked over to me. "Texting..." he replied. I shrugged, said goodbye and left for college.

College was only down the street from where I lived. I crossed the road, walked down the long path and soon enough I was facing the college where I would soon spend two years of my life. I took a large breath and walked inside. There was a reception, a door to the right and a door to the left. I walked up to the reception and waited as the receptionist finished her email. "Excuse me..." The receptionist glared at me, "I'm Sophia... New student..."

"Oh, yes..." The receptionist turned and gestured for me to take a seat. I sat down on one of the small black chairs near the windows. Next to me was a man who had short brown hair and was looking down to his phone. 'Should I talk to him?' I thought to myself. I decided not to but as time passed, I was so bored! "Uh.. Hey!" I beamed. He looked up and smiled. "Hey!" he replied in an Irish accent. I smiled at him and he smiled back. "I'm Sophia- I'm new to the school," I held out my hand.

He shook my hand and said, "I'm Sean!" We talked for what seemed like hours. Soon the receptionist came over and handed me a bunch of paperwork. I held out my hands ready to take them. I said goodbye to Sean and made my way to the door on the left. Halfway there I accidentally lost my balance and dropped a few of the papers. I quickly looked over to Sean, who now was back on his phone. As I kneeled down to collect the fallen papers, the papers in my hand collapsed onto the floor too. This time when I looked over, Sean was just getting up. He jogged over to me and started helping me gather all of my papers. I couldn't help but to stare into his blue eyes...

Sean collected most of the papers, stood up and held out his free hand. I smiled and took it. He pulled me up and we stared into each others eyes... I could feel my face begin to blush. I tried really hard to make my blushing stop but I couldn't... I think I have a crush on him... "Want me to show you around?" He asked, smiling.

"Yeah, sure!" I replied.
