EW...BUT KINDA NICE

Honestly, the drive wasn't bad. I got to listen to Made in the AM about 6 times over and over again.  So in only 6, SHORT (not really, at all) hours, we arrived almost door to door with our house I stepped out eh car for the first time. I finally breathed in a breath of fresh air. Then I gagged sarcastically. This was California air. I wasn't suppose to be happy and refreshed. I pretending to throw up outside of the car door.

"You're literally the weirdest person I know." Says Kevin as he reaches for his bag and walks to the door.

I tried to stop breathing. i didn't want anymore of this 'Cali' air, I wanted all of that left over Arizona, fresh, dirt air to be in my lungs. I take my headphones out of my ears and stop the album from playing over another time. I guess I have to walk in sometime.

---------------------------------

The house is nice, I guess. It's really more suburban than our old house. Just having to say, 'old house' makes me cringe. I was there just this morning.

The floors are hardwood with tall ceilings. It was sad to say that this was sort of my dream house. There was a tall staircase leading up to the second level. I picked up my small tote and walked up.

"Yeah, take a look at your new room Sweetie." I hear my mother call as I walk up. Then i hear Kevin thudding behind and goes right by me. He nearly knocks me out with his Doctor Who bag swinged over his shoulder.

"I call first dibs." Oh know you didn't. I started chasing after him until we both land into the hallway.

"I choose this one." He yells. Running after a smaller room at the end of the hallway. Fine by me. I'll just take the bigger, spacious, room.

"Okay so the movers should be here in like.. maybe 2 hours. So just everyone, occupy themselves in the meantime. " She looks directly to mean. I wave my phone back at  her. This will keep me 'occupied' for days. Kevin starts running up and down the stars then down the hallways shouting. Seriously. That keeps him occupied?

The movers finally arrived later that day. Some of them started to help my dad carry up my stuff. All of my memories flashed by me in the arms of big men. Really weird if you think about it.

That one  time Ellie and I went to Skate Country right before I left. We both forgot to bring money so we just walked around looking at cute boys. Then we found the photo booth, and luckily, it already had money in it. So we snapped some photos. It was amazing. I bet I would never meet anyone as funny, awkward, yet fantastic as her.

Then came in my huge pink teddy bear. I got it from my first boyfriend in 6th grade. I hated the actual guy, but should trash the bear. It was enormous.

More memories passed by, walking up the stairs then landing in my new room.

----------------------------

I actually completely finished unpacking by the end of that day. My room looked even better than it had in Arizona. The butterflies on my walls could finally 'fly' on my walls. And the fairy lights I got from AJ for my birthday 2 years ago, were really flowy and long across my bed. It was pretty nice, but DEFINITELY NOT BETTER THAN ARIZONA.

Then my mom walked into my new room. She finally had put her hair down from the tight ponytail.

"See? You're really starting to like it here. Your room looks so nice." She always said stuff like that.

"Well, I guess its bigger."

"How about your new school? Did you check it out? I hear they have a really great website."

Deciding to not get into a huge fight with her, AGAIN, i open up Safari and wait for her to tell me the website.

-----------------------------

Once she leaves, I really start snooping. Dayum. It's like a 5 star school or whatever. It was a classy, uniform dress code, PRIVATE school. Oh god. Like it looked nice, but I could just imagine it. All the rich, bleach blonde girls  that have known each other for like all their lives, all grown up in the game tall house neighborhood, and all have SUPER hot surfer boys that just ditch school to surf and get shakes.

I really didn't think I would fit in that well. Compared to them, I had dark brown hair corresponding with coffee brown eyes, and pale skin. And let me not forget it mention the beauty marks that constantly appeared over my body. I would be the complete opposite of a lot of these girls. But when I really thought about it, I didn't even care. I was actually excited to join this school. See what would happen when I came.

"Hey mom. When should we go uniform shopping?" I yell to her downstairs.

"We could go now if you want?" She yells back to me.
