Eveline yanked the cord out of her phone. It was 100% charged. She fluttered her eyes to the TV, zooming out and in.
''If you have seen this..'' The anchorwoman started, but Eveline turned it off. She watched the channels flicker off. She had applied a decent amount of makeup on, just some blush following mascara. As she was about to join her friends, her phone buzzed. Her ring tone filled the empty quietness. She snapped it open, hearing heavy breathing.
''Eveline, I need you to listen..'' The mysterious voice begged.
''Wh-who are you..?'' Eveline wasn't fond of this sudden phone call. Eveline tried keeping her large breaths down, freaked out by the voice.
''You have to trust me Evey..'' The voice responded. Eveline was shocked. The only person who called her that was her father. ''Under the tree in the backyard, there should be a hole in the wood. Look in there and read the card..and remember, don't trust anyone or anything'' The voice warned, and then soon was cut off.
