Welcome Chapter 1 of Lock Your Doors!! xoxoxoxoxoxoI don't know if I will be changing the title of the book but only time will tell. This book is not mature (at least for now) but I am hoping it stays this way, there are swear words time to time but I'm planning not to use them too much.
So if your one of those hot and steamy type people you should probably leave right now or stay I don't really care.
The cast list will be up soon I need to decide if I chose the right people for this story and I will post photos of Jamie when I do
Hoping your enjoy the first Chapter ( This chapter is not edited)

Jamie
I walked home from the high school, and took the normal route home. I walked through the wood and down the street where the weird cat lady lived. I always tried to walk as far away as I can from her house since one time the Lady trying giving me a cookie with cat food in them.
"They're really healthy just try one!" She yelled even though the smell was a dead giveaway. Since that day I tried to avoid seeing her house. I never expected my parents to be home, since I never really saw them they were working all the time. I threw my bag on the table and pulled out my notebook and opened my laptop. I started doing my homework right away. I never was late to class or missed any work and always did the extra credit. I was concerned the "Nerd" of the school. Even though in my eyes David was more of the geek than I was but no one really cared.
"Two essays, and 4 notes," I whispered to myself when I read my agenda, moving my finger along the line as I looked at the paper. I jumped when I saw the door knob move and was startled when I saw mother and father walk through the door. They were never in my whole high school life home this early.
"What are you doing here this early?" I asked closing my laptop, and moving my notebooks off the table knowing they hate it when I do work on the dining table. They didn't notice me until they saw my laptop on the table.
"Jamie!" my mother yelled, and pointed to my laptop. "What did I say," I quickly then took the laptop off the table and put it on the counter and smiled. I repeated the question "What are you doing here this early?" They both looked at each other
"Harold let us go early" Dad said, slipping off his sweater and hanging it up. He let him self off the couch and turned on the TV to the local news station.
"William! Is that the first thing you do when we get home watch the TV?" my mother scorned and she shook her head and she walked to me. but dad just smiled and turned the volume a little louder to make the situation even worse.
"Jamie" My mother said and sat down on the table, she looked at me and I sat down next to her. "Doing well in school?" She asked and looked at my bag laying on the floor next to the table. I nodded and smiled making sure I wasn't looking like I was lying.
"Good, and you're not doing anything stupid like those trouble makers in school, right?" She asked looking at me stern in the eyes, I nodded again. "Nice, because I heard that Jake the Makon's son was arrest last week for stealing," she rolled her eyes "I feel so bad for those parents"
Jake Makon was the high school "it" guy, he was the caption of the soccer team and every girl swooned him. Everywhere I walk they were throwing themselves at him. He would normal just shake them off making them only throw themselves more at him. Jake was know for his bad side, he would always throw house party's and drinking until he passed out cold and everyone loved him for that.
"Yeah I heard about that too," I said to her.
"Good and you can learn from his mistakes," She said and stood back up and walked to my Dad. I could see her grab the remote for his hand and turning down the sound so it was a soft whisper. My dad was clearly annoyed but just shook it off.
I took my bag and went to my room. It was a pale blue color and I was starting to hate it now, the bed covers had little butterfly all over them and I was meaning to change them but I never had the courage to throw them away.
I went to grab my laptop that I forgot on the counter, then I heard mom talking to dad.
'We should tell Jamie now, there is no point of hiding its going to happen one way or another" my mom said
"Now? Really we just got back home we can wait?" my dad voice said with husky voice like he was annoyed.
"Wouldn't she notice once the suitcases are pulled out" my mom said, I walked backwards to my room.
I could pull everything together now, my parents were going to divorce.
They left before I woke up, I was still in shock when I discovered that they were getting a divorce. I made my self some eggs and slowly ate thinking about how this is going to work out. Who am I going to live with? Where are they going to move? Am I going to see mom or dad once a week? I stopped thinking when I saw that outside was pouring and mom and dad left. "Sh!t" I said and I looked at the clock I had five minutes before the bus came and I ran upstairs and quickly got dressed. I wore a sleeveless pink top with a laced back, and skinny jeans. I quickly brushed my hair and slipped on the shoes. I tossed my bag over my shoulder and ran down the street. I saw the bright yellow bus driving away
"Wait!" I yelled, but I was gone the only way I could get to school without looking soaking wet. I know that walking was faster than taking the bus but I never would walk to school when it was pouring since my family didn't have an umbrella since my mom read an article that 1-10 people get struck by lighting while holding on. The rain starting running down my arms making me shiver. I saw that my hair was getting soaked and I started walking towards the woods hoping that tree would cover the rain.
"Nerd! Need a lift?" I heard someone yelled, and I could already tell by the voice who it was. Jake. I turned around and saw him. He had his window scroll down a little so the rain wouldn't get into his car but I could still hear him.
"Like I would ever get in a car with you I said" I walking a little closer to him.
"Come on you look like you just hopped into the shower, but you would need to take off your clothes" he said, I could see through the fogged window he smile.
"Very funny" I said
"Come on I'm just trying to be nice" He said and opened the door. I realized this was the only way to get to school without getting soaked and so without thinking I walked to his car and got in. I was starting to think that it wasn't going to be a long ride since it took me 5 minutes to walk home so it should be a quick ride to school.
"That's a good girl" He said and drove off. It was a few awkward seconds of silence when we drove off.
"Thanks for giving me a ride" I said but not looking at him and focusing on the road.
"You owe me one though" He said, "When I need a favor you need to give it to me okay?" I thought about this for a second what could he possibly want. My house when he wants to throw a party? I just nodded and didn't say a word. "good"
When we arrived at school I quickly got out of the car "Thanks again" I said and headed to class.
