The next day I do my same routine, skip through the day, hoping not to get noticed and going to my now favorite period, lunch. I sit in my same seat. The girl wasn't here yet so I sighed pulling my headphones in my ears. I continued eating my lunch which honestly tasted like ass.
Right when I thought the girl wouldn't show up, she came in tears brimming her eyes. I took out my headphones looking at her as she sat down. She had a black eye and busted lip. "What happened?" I ask carefully.
She looked up at me and shook her head. "I happened." She said. Just like that the bell rung and she ran out, she left another note, I didn't have time to read the last one and I don't have time now so I shove it in my pocket going into my next class.
