My heart pounding as we sat in the dark room.. staring at each other listening to each others breath. " i..I..." I started but I couldn't finish my sentence.. i just smiled sadly. " accidents happen you know.. accidents that change your life and accidents that take away lives. The world accidentally killed my family and then accidentally sent a truck to shatter my knee at my last race. It accidentally took everything away from me.." I said quietly as tears streamed down my cheeks he pulled me into his arms when suddenly the lights turned on.. " man your way to nice.. it's the world's fault that your parents are dead. It's the truck drivers fault that you can't tide any more. Your ganna go crazy if you keep all that hate in." The boy from before. Toudou-senpai. I looked up at him through teary eyes. " just say it.. it's his fault.. it's the world's fault.. " Arakita-senpai ordered as I opened my mouth but no sound came out.. Manami squeezed my hand and I turned to him he smiled kindly said the words with me.." it's wasn't an accident. It's their fault.. " he said with me bit I kept repeating it over and over again until the tears wouldn't stop.. he hugged me to his chest.. I heard his heart beat.. my eyes felt heavy and they started to close. I closed them once and opened them.. everything looked different.i could see colors everything looked softer. I felt lighter

I looked up at everyone's face and they were for the most part all smiling down at me.i wiped my face and bowed. " I'm sorry for being a bother." I whispered as Toudou-senpai laughed.. " We're the one who was ease dropping and what kind of man would I be if I didn't help a girl in need Kimo-chan" He laughed brushing his hair back.. chan??? " I'm going to walk her home.. come on Mamo-chan." Manami pulled me to my feet. I st ood up on shaky legs as he supported me with his arm around my waist.. I walked slowly with him.. he pulled his bike off of the bike rack.. we started to walk up the slope. With only the bike light lighting the way, I stummbled multiple times and he noticed picking me up and putting me on the back of his bike. He started pedaling up the slope.. " I'm too heavy. " I stated tring to g wet off but he gripped my arm . " stay on.. I want to show you how much fun it is yo go up a slope again.. " he said not panting yet. Even in the dark, I could see his smile.. " even though it hurts my body and my lungs to up a slope, I can't help but smile.." he explained as we caught up with the fading light and we were at the peak where the a sun could be seen fading. " I want to be the first to be at the peak no matter what. That'd my motivation for climbing. " he whispered as he helped me off of the bike.. we watched the sun disapear before he tied his bike up and we started to walk to my house. " Can i call you... Sa.....Sanga...chan?? ... not that I want yi just because I thing of you as my friend and you call me Mamo-chan " I asked in deniel as he beamed . " of course" he laughed as we approached a hill and the dark house came to view. I looked beside me to see him smiling. My house was on a smaller hill. He started jumping up and down. He suddenly lifted me up and started running up the slope. I squealed but he put me down. He laughed at my expression and I dug in my bag for my key. I unlocked my door and opened it.. the squeak of my door echoed in the house.. Manami stared at me. " Mamo-chan.. do you really go though that darkness everyday?" He asked as he shuttered. I nodded.. and then blushed.
