"Faith," Harry whined with tears flowing down his face, grasping her tiny hands in his ample hands in comparison to hers, "please, don't go, don't leave me.."
A sound from an electronic device was beeping in the distance, the noise coming to a halt, then a continual sound. Harry looked around, he assumed it was an alarm from the room next door as it had faded away.
He glanced back to Faith, sitting in the hospital bed. She looked like a ghost, considering her skin looked to be bitten with a thick band of frost. Anyone could have believed it if not for all of the iv tubes that were accompany up her arm.
How can so much blood come from that one tiny body? Harry thought.
The holes in her skin told of a messy end.
She wasn't going to make it. Harry thought again.
That's what they all said, but Harry, never accepted the truth, ever. The scene spoke of rage and hate. Harry didn't want Faith to go, he never could, he never would dream of letting her go. Faith's body had been abandoned in the cold white room now contained with death and guilt.
