Stay With Me

Chapter 1

Yu's POV

Hey Mika where are you going? I asked. I found him walking down the hall alone. It had been about a week since we got back to headquarters. It took some time but we got Guren and the rest of the Moon Demon Company to accept Mika into their home. Guren was still watching him like a hawk, but so was Mika.

"I'm just going to my room for a little while, okay" he said. I could tell something wasn't right but I couldn't put my finger on it. He looked sad or something. His head was drooped as he walked down the dark hallway. As I made my way to the conference room the sun peaked out of the clouds.

"Hey Yu what's up?" Shinoa asked.

"Oh nothing I was just wondering something, has Mika been acting like that all day?"

"Yeah, he seems sad or something. Maybe he's not used to the new environment quite yet."

"Yeah your probably right." The conference was long and boring. Guren came in with his same old lecture. He was still keeping a close eye on the blonde vampire. We all decided to look out for Mika too. Yoichi thought we should go grab some pizza and hang out later. We all agreed and headed out after Guren left.

"Isn't Mika coming with us?" Yoichi asked. "Yeah I thought he was coming. I'll go find him." I ran back to my apartment where Mika was staying.

"Mika are you in here?" I yelled searching for the blonde vampire. I found him sitting in the living room with his knees tucked to his chest. He was hugging onto one of the green pillows from the couch. The moonlight shone on his blonde hair as his blue eyes stared at me.

"Mika are you okay you seem down?"

"Yu-chan can I drink your blood? I'm hungry please" he whispered. I wonder if that was why he stayed away from everybody today?

"Of course if that was all you wanted you could've come to me sooner." I hated seeing him in pain and sad. I sat down next to him and unbuttoned my shirt. Mika leaned in closer, his white fangs showing. I felt a shape pain in my right side of my neck.

"Ouch, Mika be gentle" I pleaded. The blood from Mika's mouth dripped onto my shirt. As the blood was being drained from me I grabbed onto his shirt.

"Mika" I whispered. He let go and stared at me.
" I was wondering if you'd want to come to dinner with us?" I asked. His eyes now gazed at the floor with a hint of sadness to them.
" No I'd rather stay up here and be alone for awhile" he whispered.
"Okay if you say so." I got and was out the door to meet my friends when I realized I had blood on my shirt.
"Shit, no what am I gonna do? Oh well I'll just tell them Mika was hungry so I gave him my blood.
I ran back to my friends they asked me why I had blood on my shirt, so I told them the whole story. I haven't been able to hang out with them as friends in a long time.  We can all tell that everyone has changed since the last battle. When the great night finally came to a close we parted ways. The walk back was calm and quiet. The moon shone down making everything it touched glow. I'm my apartment I found Mika lying on the bed asleep. He looked so cute and adorable when he's curled up into a little ball. I got ready and moved Mika over to his side.  I felt his warm heat as I hugged him close. My eyes started to feel heavy and my body started to relax. I glanced over a Mika and snuggled closer to him.

"Goodnight Mika"
