Chapter 18

~Chapter 18~

I couldn't move, I couldn't talk. I was frozen in the spot my dad that was gone since I was born is back. I couldn't even believe it.

At the moment I was in Nathan's car he was driving me back home so i can see my dad. Its been so long I miss him.

When we finally got back, Nathan helped me out of the car and guided me to the front door. He was about to leave but I stopped him.

"please stay" I say to him in a whisper voice he nods and I open the door to see my mom and what looks like to be my dad sitting at the kitchen table.

He looks a lot like me with his blue eyes and brown hair..

Once they hear me and Nathan walk in there heads snap my way. I look at my mom and she has tears running down her face, I guess she's happy that he's finally back,

She walks over to me and pulls me into a hug. "is that him?" I whisper to her so no one else can hear. She nods.

I pull away from my mom and look at my dad, he smiles at me I couldn't help but run and give him the biggest hug. This is a very happy moment for me.

"I missed you" i tell him "missed you to" he says to me.

Soon after we hug Nathan had to go home so it was just me my mom and dad.

"who's that boy?" he asks me.

I chuckle, "he's just a friend" I say to him he raises an eyebrow and crosses his arms on his chest.

"good don't want nothing more" I roll my eyes but can't help but laugh

We were having dinner and just chatting away but there was one question going in my mind that I really wanted to ask.

"Why did you leave us for so long?" I ask him, he looks at me and then at my mom.

"I knew this question was going to come up" he takes a pause but continues "after I got in a car accident, I was ok, well to me i was fine, nothing was broken in my body but then I realized that I had lost my memory. I couldn't remember anything not even my name. After my car got hit I left the scene cause I didn't know what was going on, I was walking in the streets when I sow this old lady she toke me to her home. She toke care of me. She was such a nice old lady. But as the years went by i kinda started to remember things like my life before the accident and just a month ago i remembered having 2 beautiful children. I knew that i needed to see you so I left the nice lady and I went out searching, it toke awhile to find you but I did and now I'm here"

I didn't realize I had tears in my eyes.

I couldn't believe my dad had want through all of that.

"the only thing that matters is that your here" my mom say. I smile at her words. Then the phone rings, I get up from my seat and realize that Logan Is calling.

"hello?" I said

"Abby what's going on, mom said to come home. She never told me why?!" I could tell he was panicking just by his voice.

"dads back" theres a moment of silence.

"d-dads t-there?" he stutters.

"yes, come home he wants to see you" I say he agrees and hangs up the phone.
