Hey guys! I'm here with a new story! One thing I should tell you beforehand; The cast would be voice actors and the characters they play (the acception is only for Destiny, Daisy, and Kaylee). Anyway, enjoy!_______________________________________________________________________________
My name is Anastasia Watercress. Some people would call me Stacey, but the most common name is 'Destiny' for the fact that I can read the outcomes of the world around me. To put it simply; I can see the future. I can do others, such as telekinesis and telepathy, or even my speciality- to summon both lightning, ice, and fire- but I don't use them as much. That's right; I'm a freak of nature and I gotta admit- I'm quite happy about that.
"Anastasia!" My mother called. "We're leaving in-"
"Exactly three minutes." I replied. "I'm coming."
I looked in the mirror. My gray-blue eyes looked dull and my long dark hair looked....well, normal. I put on a pair of black khakis and a green tank top. Throwing on a cap and putting on my sneakers, I left my bare room.
"Why are we moving from America to Japan?" My sister Daisy asked. "I don't get it."
"Buisness." My mom and I replied in unsion.
My mother managed to get a job in Japan. How she managed to do that is beyond my comprehension, as she doesn't speak Japanese.
"Can we go now?" My cousin Kaylee (Short for Kayleigh) asked. "You've ruined my life once, so I really don't want to go through this again."
I grinned. "Yeah, let's go."
"Hey, Stace? Is it going to rain?" Daisy asked.
"Yeah, if we don't get a move on." I replied.
"Can your predictions be wrong for once?" Daisy groaned.
"No. My predictions are always spot-on."
"Great...." Daisy muttered. "I'm just going to pretend- as usual- that it's going to stay Indian Summer until we reach Japan. If it does rain, expect me to pass out after walking on my hands, got it?"
"....Uh...." I said in response. "Dai, you don't have to do that. Let's just go, shall we?"
"Sure." Daisy agreed. Then, she started to hum 'Let's go' from K-On.
"Let's go! Let's go go! Let's go! Let's go go go!" Kaylee said, running into our car.
I chuckled and dived in after her. "Yeah, I don't want to be caught in this rainstorm."
Daisy ran into the car and my mother drove off until we reached the airport. Since this whole entire part is absolutely boring, I'll spare you.
We reached Japan exactly nine hours later. Dad, being Dad, had to draw out what he wanted to say before Kaylee and I stopped him.
"Excuse me," Kaylee said in some stilted third-version Japanese. "We kind of need a rental car."
"More like, we actually NEED a rental car." I told the man running the show.
"Check it out!" Daisy hissed. "ESPers!"
"More like, Itsuki Koizumi cosplayers." I corrected. "Ouran Academy's in...Bunkyo, a school-district."
"School-district? There's actually a city for SCHOOL?"
Kaylee giggled. "You didn't know that? Honestly, how will you pass History?"
"Never passed it." Daisy rolled her eyes. "Like I'm supposed to know that Washigton didn't get gunned down by the Hessians? And that the Time Warp Trio didn't buy the Brooklyn Bridge in 1605?"
"1605?" I repeated. "What makes you think THAT year? It's 1870."
"And George Washigton didn't get gunned by Hessians. He surprised them on Christmas Day." Kaylee told Daisy.
"....What history are you taking?"
"Elfangor's Secret and Time Warp Trio. Oh, and The Future Is Wild."
"....WHAT?" I asked. "Animorphs and two fictional shows? You actually BELIEVED THEM?"
"Well, yeah." Daisy rolled her eyes again. "I also believed that ESPers were real and Yeerks took over the universe."
"Haruhiist." I muttered. "....Always a Haruhiist.."
Kaylee nudged me. "Hey, remember the Emerald Curse?"
She believed that Emeralds were made to ruin my life. I mean, everything revolved around them. My middle name is Emerald, I share a birthday with Emerald (From Pokemon Adventures), my birthstone is Emerald, and Emeralds happened to strengthen my odd power.
"Please." I scoffed. "Emeralds are not ruining my life."
"You touched an Emerald necklace when you were a kid. Next minute, you end up creating a fire/ice/lightning storm which caused at least three hundred deaths in the tri-state area."
"There's nothing wrong with Emeralds."
"There's everything wrong with Emeralds!" Daisy hissed. "Like Cilan's irrational fear of Purrloins, I'm scared of your telepathic cat-"
"Which is also irrational as I wouldn't hurt you."
"Can you blame me? My sister's a-"
"Shuppet!" Kaylee pushed the two of us away from each other. "Moemon Shuppet!"
"Wha?" She's obsessed with chibi Pokemon.
"MOEMON SHUPPETTO!" Kaylee repeated, jumping around like crazy.
"...That's not even Japanese!" Daisy cried.
"How did you pass World History and Languages if you can't even remember when The BK bridge was made?" I asked.
"Simple. I know what I choose to learn." Daisy grinned. "After all, in History, I try hard to do my nails!"
By now, we had gotten into the car.
"It's amazing." Mom told us. "Destiny, I know you don't want me to ask this...."
"The house is a three story home. The moving truck is right in front of the house.....can I get an Emerald?"
Daisy screamed so loud, Dad screeched like Cilan when he saw the statue falling down beside him. I burst out laughing.
"Dad! You sound like Cilan!"
"Who?"
"Cilantro Sanyou of Striaton City." Daisy told him.
"Pokemon." Mom replied.
"That explains everything. Thanks hon."
Sparing you the trouble once again....I'll see you later. Keep looking forward for my awesome psychic mishaps as I go to Ouran Academy!
