Ex best friend

Hey im Skylar and im 19. I have long light blue ombre hair, hazel eyes, and im skinny you can say but not bone skinny but not chubby. I live by myself because my parents were always drunk or not there so i just left. I moved out when i was 16 and i went to live with my best friend cameron. But that was 3 years ago and now i live by myself in a different part of california as far away from him i could without leaving california.

" Cam can I come over"
"Yeah what's wrong"
"Uhh nothing"
"Skyler tell me now"
"Cam I can't"
"We'll come over then"
"Ok"
I was on my way to cams house but I couldn't tell him that my parents abused me. He would try and do something and I don't need to loose some one I love.

"Cam I'm here"
"There you are" he said like he was scared about something.
"Why did you bring a suitcase with all of ur stuff sklyer? Did your parents kick you out? You can live with me if you need to."
"Yeah they kicked me out and can I live with you?" I can't believe I just lied to my best friend.
"Yeah your always welcome and since your here I would like you to meet my girlfriend Mackenzie"
"Oh your have a girlfriend"
"Yeah sorry I never told you we have been dating for over 5 months"
"And you never told me about this why should I call you my best friend if you keep big secrets away from me like that"
"I said I was sorry and I didn't mean to"
"That doesn't cut it cam you know what I'm just going to find my own place"
"No don't leave I'm sorry please"
"No maybe you would have thought about it before go and lie about to me"  And with that I walk out oh his house and go find my own place to live in.

End of flashback

That was the last I saw cam he tried to text me everyday for 3 months but then he stopped he said he broke up with Mackenzie(she is 17 in the story just an FYI) but I don't think I can even trust him again. And just to think after all of that I did meet Mackenzie and we live together and she is my new best friend and the best one.
