[Noah's P.O.V.]

Monday, Monday, Monday.

A lot of people are probably dreading today, but I'm not. It's embarrassing to admit, but I'm really looking forward to seeing Clark.

What I'm not looking forward to is telling everyone that I had a date with him. I don't think anyone but Delilah will say something, even she might not. I'm sure she's given up on trying to tell me to stay away. I don't like to think about that though.

It's a bit chilly out today, being late September, so I'm wearing a pair of black skinny jeans, a long sleeve PINK shirt, and my white high top converse.

When I get into the school building I immediately scan the halls for my friends. Mainly Clark, if I'm honest. What can I say? I'm infatuated with the tall, brown haired boy.

I don't see any of my friends, I hardly ever do in the mornings.

I walk to my locker quietly, dodging students in the hall. I enter my combination and pull open the locker door. I quickly grab my English notebook and make my way to first period.

Once I'm there I sit down in my seat at the front of the room and wait patiently for the bell to ring. When it does Ms. Spears begins talking about the test we are having on chapters 1-5 of Jane Eyre. I hate that book so much.

Later in the day I walked slowly to the cafeteria, I was going to tell everyone about my date with Clark.

Once I got into the cafeteria I made my way to the table and sat down. Everyone else was already there and gave me different greetings.

"Hey, guys." I reply with a smile.

"I'm so tired and I have a test next period, it's gonna kill me." Leo complains then stuffs a roll into his mouth.

I giggle at him and he gives me a closed mouth smile, his cheeks full. He looks like a squirrel.

"So, guys, I, uh, went on a date with Clark Saturday." I state, my voice getting quieter as I talk.

Delilah and Savannah share a look and Delilah lets out a sigh.

"Okay, Noah, don't come running to us crying when you find out he was using you." Delilah states and shakes her head slightly. Well, I won't lie, that kind of hurts.

"I don't know, Delilah, I think he might really like Noah, " Savannah says and smiles sadly, "he acts different with Noah."

Well that gives me a bit of hope.

"Well, how was it then? What did you guys do?" Leo asks and I tell him about us going out to eat and everything.

"Yeah, there wasn't a good movie playing at the theater, so we just went back to my house and watched Now You See Me." I answer, smiling at the memory.

"Ooooh, you went back to your house?" Leo asks suggestively, teasing me. I roll my eyes playfully.

"Yes, Leo, we went back to my house, snuggled up, and watched a movie. That's all." I replied.
