Chapter 6: The Date And New Friends?

PART TWO

We had finally got through the gates. The closest ride was the swings. I love the swings. I looked at Jake and said, "Please, can we go on the swings? Please!" He laughed and nodded his head. As we started to walk towards the line I felt him grab my hand and intertwind are fingers. I looked up at him and smiled. He smiled back, and let me tell you how amazing his smile is. He has dimples, it makes my stomach go crazy and lastley it is on his beautiful face. We finally get to go on. We took a double seat. As soon as we got buckled in he put his arm around me. Even the slightest touch of him makes me go crazy! The ride started up and I leaned more into him. The wind felt amazing but it did make me feel a bit cold. Im guessing Jake noticed to because he leaned more into me and rubbed my arm. I have a feeling I am not gonna be able to stop smiling tonight. The ride soon comes to an end. He unbuckles us, picks me up, and puts me onto the ground. He takes my hand again amd exits the ride. Next is the ferris wheel. I look up to it and Jake whispers in my ear, "Lets save that for last." That made me shiver. He took off his hoodie amd gave it to me. I said thanks and looked around for our next ride.

**time skip**

We both agree since that we have rode every ride (except the ferris wheel) and its getting dark we are going to get a funnel cake. We are now walking up the hill to get the best funnel cake at the fair. We are still holding hands. It feels amazing. As we get in line I hear him say, " you having fun?" I reply by saying, " Jake for the fifth time i'm having a blast. It seems like big bad Jake is nervous." I laughed and poked his chest. I hear his deep chuckle. " I guess I am a bit nervous." I smile and shake my head. When we get to the front of the line he ordered a funnel cake. We then waited for our funnel cake. As soon as we got it I took a bite and said, "mmm I missed this. The last time I had this was when me and H-Hannah came here two years ago and met Austin." I looked down. I didn't know I started crying until Jake lifted my head up and whipped a tear off. "hey, hey, hey. Smile. You know it hurts me when you're upset," he said. I reply back and say, "why would you be upset?" He smiled and looked in my eye. " because I like you, Destiny. I like you alot." Well, that made me smile. "I like you to. Alot," I said. He smiled and put some funnel cake in my mouth. I laughed but ate it anyways. He took my hand and said, " come on, let's go to the ferris wheel." I replied with, "okay!" I am so glad that I have him. I don't know what I would do without him. Even though I met him last week and in the worst situation, I think I love him. We finally get to the line for the ferris wheel. They announce that this is the last ride because the fair is almost at it's closing time. We got up and there is one girl behind us all alone. It looks like she has been crying. I look up to Jake and mentally ask him if she can come. He nods as if he understood. I turned to the girl and said, "Hi, my names Destiny. Would you like to sit with us?" "You guys need some alome time. You guys are a really cute couple," she smiled. I shook my head and said, "No, no we are not a couple. Come on, we insist." She finally agreed. I swear I heard Jake say not yet when I said we are not a couple. Oh well. Wait wat does that mean? We get on and it starts moving. Jake whispers something into the girls ear. I wonder what he is saying?

Jakes p.o.v

I am so nervous right now. I lean over and whisper in the girl's ear, "Hey, I don't want to make you feel awkward, but I was planning on asking her to be my girlfriend. Is that okay?" She smiled and said, "of course that's fine. You two seem adorable together. Awwe, so sweet!" I laughed. I then looked over at Destiny and said, "Destiny, this night has been amazing. Even though we just met last week, I know everything about you. I really like you, like alot! It hurts me whenever you're sad or hurt. That night at the hospital, even though I didn't know you yet, it felt like I did and I cried myself to sleep. Destiny Noelle Winters, will you do me the great honor of becoming my girlfriend," I finish off. I took a deep breath waiting for an answer. "Yes," I heard her say! She is finally my girlfriend! Oh gosh! She just made me the happiest guy in the world! I start to lean in and she closed the gap. Ah. I felt all of the fireworks and sparks. It felt amazing! I think I love her.

Destiny p.o.v

I can't believe I am finally Jake's girlfriend. I am so happy right now. My stomach has the zoo in it again. After we pulled out of the kiss I looked at the girl. Whoops, I forgot she was here. Wait, whats her name. My bad, I didn't ask her. "sorry, what is your name?" She then said, "Emily, Emily Carter." We then exchange numbers and get off the ferris wheel. Jake takes my hand and walks away. Wow, I am now Jake Whithouse's girlfriend and it feels amazing!
