Kate Pov
I sat outside the wooden box I called home I've lived here for 2 months now and I've gotten used to it. The box has a mattress and blankets that didn't burn in the fire and a crate of clothes they were my summer clothes those were the only things that survived the fire except me but, not the rest my family. My parents and brother both died in the fire and at age 18 you don't get put in a foster home or in a adoption center so I live in a alley between two nice houses. I laid out on a bench in front of the house to the left I found a little girl laying on the street she said " Hi I'm Jamie I'm 5 and my parents left me at a gas station then committed suicide." I let her sleep in my bed so she didn't catch hypothermia. I laid on the bench and drifted to sleep. Once I woke up I was in a house and there were 4 guys staring at me.
Ross's Pov
I drove home from work to see a girl laying on the bench in front of my house. She was asleep and shivering she has shorts and a t-shirt on IN 38 degree weather! So of course I carried her in and laid her in my bed and called Adam,Barney,and Max. Cause I had no idea what to do once they got here we went to look at her. Then she woke up startled. " Hi I'm Ross what's your name". " Kate and um where am I" she asked. We told her where she was and everyone's names. Then we got to a tricky question. " Where do you live and where are your parents" I asked. " she replied " My family died in a fire and I live in the alley by your house." We walked with her to a wooden box in the alley with a mattress, a box and a little girl sleeping on the mattress. "Your sister?" I asked. "No I found her on the street yesterday we are going to take her to a adoption center today." The thought of her almost dying for someone else almost brought tears to my eyes.
