"Hi, my name is _____ and I've been kidnapped, blah blah blah" We've all heard that entry too many times before, haven't we? Well, this story is different. It is an appropriate, but fictional, look into the world of what it's like to be kidnapped. Most people either try to sugar-coat it or make it sound worse than it is, which is hard. I, as a writer, have not been kidnapped myself, but I have read plenty of fictional stories and seen too many real stories on the news. I find that 85-90% of people kidnapped are children. I know that 95% of those children are killed within the first 48 hours of being kidnapped. To any person with a heart, that is extremely sadenning. You may ask why I am telling you this. I guess I just want to give you something else to think about while you read this story. I guess I am hoping that someone may get up and do something about it instead of just thinking that it's sad. I know that writing this story isn't helping anything, but I do help. If you aren't interested by now, you may as well stop reading. But if you find yourself thinking "Hey, this story could be kinda cool.", then maybe you could give it a shot. Maybe I'm not the best writers. To be honest, this is the first story I have written. I guess we will see.
