Chapter Four "Confrontation"

           It was Noel's birthday, nagpaparty ito sa bahay nito at maraming friends ang imbitado mula samga socialite at mga kilalang bachelors.

"Hey, wag kang magmukmok diyan..this is the first time everyone will see you again after that drama."

Tinutukoy ni Stephy ang reason kaya siya nagpunta ng Bali, that is five months ago. Ayaw niya sanang pumunta kaya lang nakakahiya kay Noel at isa pa boyfriend ito ng best friend niya. She hated crowds but she knew she can't never hide from it.

"After an hour I"ll go home na ha." paalam niya dito.

Pinanlakihan siya nito ng mata. "Don't be too rude on yourself Tany, you're not like that." Alam nitong wala siyang inuurungan.

"Feeling ko pinagtsitsismisan ako ng lahat." anya.

"Of coarse not, si Noel ang bida ngayon..its his birthday." Steph rolled her eyeballs.

Sandaling iniwan ni Stephy si Tany nang asikasuhin nito at samahan ang nobyo sa mga bisita.

"Oh hello Tanya..how are you?" bati sa kanya ng isang grupo ng mga modelo at celebrity.

She posted a light, happy smile on her face. "I'm good..nice to see you all."

"Malapit na ang issue ng magazine mo." wika ng isa.

"Yah, mga late next month na."

"You look more gorgeous ngayon kahit na break na kayo ni Dominic." komento ng isa.

She flashed a proud smile. "I have other reason to be beautiful."

"It seems that you're alone today? where is the mystery guy in Bali?" mahaderang tanong ng isa pa.

She knew it, pinagpipiyestahan ng mga ito ang buhay niya. Before she answer that question may isa ang nagreact.

"Look who's coming, the newly wed Tiffany and Dominic Sebastian." announced ng isa. Everyone look at the couple except Tany, she can't move herself..she can't stand that humiliation infront of people..in the circle where everyone expected that she should be Dominic Sebastian's wife.

"Late na ba ako?" narinig ni Tany ang isang pamilyar na boses. She glanced at her side and Alexis Aguilar was there with his smile who ready to save her again.

"Why you're here?" pabulong niyang tanong.

"Come on I am Noel's friend, invited ako and besides its obvious that you need me." pabulong din na sagot nito.

Nagtama ang tingin ni Tany at Dominic, it was the first time she saw him again after five months. Nakaramdam ng kaba ang dalaga, nakahawak si Tiffany sa braso nito and when their eyes met it was the same eyes she used to know.

"Relax.." muling bulong ni Alexis, kahit ito alam ang tungkol kay Dominic..

"Let's go.." aya niya rito.

But before they walked out tinawag siya ng kapatid na si Tiffany. "Hi Tany, I'm glad to see you." mana talaga ito sa nanay nitong plastic.

"Hello Tiffany, congratulations." pinigilan ng dalaga na manginig ang pagkakangiti niya. "..to you too Dominic." she felt awkward saying his name.

" Thank you." si Tiffany. "and who is this guy beside you?" tanong nito na obvious na curious.

"Architect Alexis Aguilar, co-owner ng Dimension Architectural firm." pakilala ng binata sa sarili.

"Really? Tany is such so secretive, I'm her sister Tiffany." pakilala nito. "and my husband Dominic."

"It's my pleasure to meet both of you, congratulations on your wedding." casual na bira ni Alexis.
