You decide to go the beach with your friends on a hot summer day. You and your friends had already been there for a few hours, soaking up some sun and cooling off in the chilled water. It was a while past midday, and your friends were back in the water. You wanted to stay in the sun to lie out and soak up the last rays of sun for the day. You had almost drifted off to sleep when a flying disc whizzed above you. Your eyes opened slightly, but you took no note of it. You were completely awakened when a blonde haired, blue eyed boy tripped over your legs in attempt to retrieve the disc. You sat up from all the commotion, and he looked over, realizing what had happened. “I’m so sorry about that! I was just try-, “he stopped explaining as he looked at you into your eyes. “I… I’m Niall. I’m sorry about tripping over your legs! I didn’t see ya when I was running after the disc,” he continued. “I bet my buddies did this on purpose… they must’ve seen me lookin’ at ya in the water...” he grumbled to himself. “What was that?” you asked, no sure of what you heard. “Oh, nothing. I’m Niall. Nice to meet ya, love! Sorry again. I’ll make this up to ya if you’d like.” He apologized. “I’m Tori. It’s nice to meet you Niall! Wait..Niall?” you blushed as you remembered where you had heard the name before. He was your favourite member of the band One Direction. “Yeh?” he said, looking at you confused. “Never mind. I just remembered something, but what did you have in mind?” you smiled. “How about a walk on the beach in the moonlight?” he grinned. “That sounds lovely. How about we get to know each other for now?” you asked. “Alright, well I’m from One Direction, the lads are over there if you’d like to meet them, and we can all chill together for a while if you want.” He said sweetly. “Well that’s amazing! Sure I’d love to say hello, but I’d rather talk more with you for a while, if that’s alright with you.” You blushed. “Oh? That sounds good to me. I was kind of thinking the same.” He blushed as well. You said hello to the boys and got pictures and autographs, as well as all of their numbers. You and Niall walked off and back to your things and talked for what seemed like forever. It had gotten a bit hot, so you two decided to walk along the shoreline. You stepped right as a wave cam, and it splashed Niall lightly on the side. That was the beginning of a water fight. He chased you around until he almost caught you, right by your towel, and you fell down together, laughing. The sun had begun to set, and you just lied down to catch your breath. It was beginning to get dark, when Niall looked over to you in your eyes. “You know, you’re really beautiful, Tori.” He almost whispered. “That’s so sweet, Niall. Thank you! You’re quite good looking, yourself.” You blushed. “Oh you think so?” he smirked. “I very much do,” you spoke, almost dreamily. Before you know it, he leaned in and kissed you. You were shocked at first, but returned the magical kiss in the moonlight. You both pulled back after a while and smiled. “Hey..uh.. Tori?” he said shyly. “yes Niall?” you hesitantly replied. “I have a question for ya…” he blushed. “Oh yeah? Well what is it?” you smiled. “I haven’t really done this before.. and it’s been a while, but will you be my girlfriend?” he asked nervously, and you just stared at him, speechless. When he was about to take it back or ask if he did something wrong, you finally replied. “Yes, Niall, of course I will be your girlfriend,” he sighed in relief. “You were starting to scare me, princess. I thought you were gonna say no…” he almost whispered. “Why would I ever say no to the lad that I’m rapidly falling in love with?” you smiled and looked up into his ocean blue eyes. “I dunno. Maybe that lad was just afraid the girl of his dreams was too good to be true, because love at first sight is for fairytales.” He looked back at you, dreamily. “Well I’d love to be the princess of this story if you’ll have me, prince charming.” “You’re my princess now. We can write a fairytale of our own. It’ll start with a starry night on the beach.” He said as you slowly drifted off to sleep, a lifetime of adventures with Niall to await you when you awake.
