Prologue: The End of War-Torn

The days, which were fated to continue on--came to an abrupt end.

Perhaps it wouldn't be wrong to call that it had already been predetermined.

At that time her thoughts on the situation surrounding Gazu Empire were still naive...completely ignorant to the world till the end. When the war broke out, she could do nothing, just standing there blankly as it passed by.

The sound of people yelling.

The sound of people wailing.

The sound of people shrieking.

Numerous sounds unfolding forming a requiem.

Cries of sorrow, anger, and anguish were everywhere. Also the crackling sounds that the flames presented madly blended in together creating a symphony of sort, making it difficult to determine the various sounds. In short, it was a scene of a perishing country, struggling in misery till the end.

"----Princess!"

A strange object could be seen out of the window.

Far in the distance, an enormous object was hovering above in mid-air.

Though she had no way of knowing the distance between, it was still a scary existence. In contrast with the dragon knights flying about, its size is about that of a castle--no, it wouldn't be far-fetched to describe it being as big as a mountain.

But it was floating. Neither was it being supported nor being suspended. It was similar to the clouds floating in the sky.

Although she knew that magic can make the impossible possible, still this was out of the ordinary.

Taking a good look, it seemed to be an erected cylinder-shaped object. However if one were to examine carefully, it could be viewed as a huge figure.

A floating huge figure. That is--

"----Princess!"

--It took her awhile to recognize it as the enemy's fortress.

"........."

So scary. So scary. It was so scary.

Escaping from the structure's line of sight, she ducked down.

Yet, the scene below...had already transformed into a painting from hell long ago.

Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies. Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies. Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies.Enemies. --There are enemies everywhere.

What was reflected on her eyes was nothing but the enemy.

Countless soldiers flocking in with the intent to kill.

Soldiers holding a shield in one hand while brandishing their weapons, knocking down their opponents, killing those who come in contact. This was what she witnessed.

"Where are you? Princess!"

This event, to the girl who knows nothing of war, was a hard subject to comprehend.

Basically there was no chance for them to win. The probability of them winning was nonexistent.

"Princess......!"

A forty to fifty years old female attendant broke through the door, seemingly hurried.

"Aaa, princess...so you are here!"
