Chapter 5

PAGE'S POV

After naming tumambay ni Sean sa cafe, we parted ways and headed straight home. After all, we decided to finish each other's fair share of the script tonight and we'll do the revisions tomorrow.

We'll meet again tomorrow, huh. Well I guess he really isn't that bad. And spending time with him isn't even as annoying as I thought it would be.

"Page, di ka ba kakain?" tanong ni Bullet habang paakyat ako ng stairs. Kumakain kasi sila ni Kensie ng dinner.

"Pass na muna ako. I'll just grab some snacks later on pag nagutom ako. May kailangan lang akong tapusin." sagot ko.

Pagpasok ko ng room ko, nagbihis lang ako on my lounge wear at dumiretso sa study table ko. Sinimulan ko na ding gawin yung script. Wala pa ako sa kalahati nang biglang may magtext sa akin.

I checked it out kung sino at medyo nagulat ako na si Sean pala yun. He was asking about my skype ID. For some reason, binigay ko naman without considering kung aanhin niya.

After about 2 minutes, nagpop up na iniinvite niya ako to add him as a contact on skype. In-accept ko naman at after that, he called me on skype. I was surprised he was on video call pala.

"Hey I can't see you. Turn on your camera." sabi niya. Grabeng makademand to. Malay ko bang video call pala.

"Why did you call anyway?" tanong ko.

"Nothing. I just think na mapapabilis ang paggawa natin ng script kapag kausap natin ang isa't isa. We can brainstorm together." sagot niya.

Well he has a point. But I really don't understand the need to even have a video call. I mean, I don't even look presentable right now as I am just wearing my lounge wear.

Tumingin ako sa kanya and noticed na he's also wearing his lounge wear. His hair wax is gone, and he's wearing a dark grey v-neck shirt. I'm seeing his simple side. And I think he's really cute.

We worked in that set up. We were silent most of the time pero nag-uusap naman kami kapag nakoconfuse sa isusulat na scene. Now I get why he wanted to have the video call. It feels like we're actually working together rather than alone in our own bedrooms.

And I don't know why but I find it really helpful instead of intimidating.

Kinabukasan, maaga akong nagbihis since pareho kaming di nakatulog ni Sean. And we even have some plans on watching another play today. Humihikab akong lumabas ng bahay. I decided to grab a cab since ayoko namang magdrive na inaantok.

Just like yesterday, pagdating ko sa theater hall eh andun na si Sean ay naghihintay sa may entrance. I approached him and after that, pumasok na kami. Sobrang lakas ng audio na pinapatugtog nila kaya hindi kami makapag-usap ng maayos ni Sean.

Kaya nanahimik na lang kami until magstart ang show. Pero nung nagsimula na yung show, wala na akong maalala.

SEAN'S POV

Wala pa sa kalagitnaan ng play ay napansin kong tumatango si Page. Nilingon ko siya only to find out na nakatulog pala siya.

This is a lively play. It's even a children's play as a matter of fact. Pero inantok siya habang nanonood. Probably because hindi kami nakatulog kagabi. Natapos namin yung script, but it was already morning kaya wala na kaming time to sleep.

For some reason, inalalayan ko ang ulo niya at ipinatong sa balikat ko. After that nakatulog siya ng mas komportable. Ako na lang ang nanood sa play. I'll just relay my observations to her when she's awake.
