Prologue

It was dark. It was like a nightmare. A demon trying to get me. And the sound... A loud scream you don't want to hear, a scream you can't ever imagine. But there's a boy... A young boy, he was looking at me. His eyes were filled with anger; no, hatred. I was scared. I was so scared to feel the pain. He pushed me back into the cabinet and locked it. I screamed, I cried for help. I thought of death but he then saved me... And then left. Now everything went to normal. Nothing happened; yet.

The police then came in action, the man suddenly made his way to get away from the policemen. The policemen barged over our house. I can see my parents laying on the floor. I cried quietly. There were flashlights, they were holding guns and trying to investigate. I peek through the small opening of the cabinet, I tried to be quiet so they wouldn't see me but I accidentally stepped on something. One policeman looked over to the cabinet and slowly open it.

"Hey! She's in here." He announced. He opened the cabinet and looked at me. He smiled. But I was still scared.

"Don't trust anyone but us." Something passed through my mind. Yes, they told me. My parents told me not to trust anyone but them.

"It's okay. I'm not gonna hurt you." He extended his hand to me and I looked at it. I don't know if I'm going to trust this man. But I have no choice. I need to be strong. For my parents and I need to know who killed them. I want answers.

I extended my hand and came out of the cabinet. As I was just about to go out of our house I accidentally stepped on something. It was a bracelet. And I recognize It. It was from the boy.. The boy who saved me. I remember his right wrist was wearing this bracelet. I took it and observed. Jacob. His name is Jacob. But why did he saved me? What's the connection of him to me and my parents? I need to find out.
