The Dreams

Something Strange

I laid looking at the sealing, touching the rose and watching my fingers turn white. I even waited for me to lift up. It was all I could do. When my mom came home and went to go check on my sister, I heard talking. And I knew what was coming next.
"Yuki? Why is your sister crying?" I felt my eyes getting teary.
"I-I don't know."
"Yuki..."
"I don't know!" My Mom's eyes focused on the amulet.
"W-when did I give you that?"
"You didn't, I uh... Got it as a present..... From a friend."
"Your lying."
"C-can you just leave me alone?!"
"Excuse me?"
"I-I hate you..... I..." Tears rolled down my cheeks. I didn't dare look into my Mother's eyes. She just walked out of the room. How did this happen? I don't remember having aggression towards my Mom. I mean, I still am upset about... Yeah. But I wouldn't do that. I know she tries hard to take care of us, and I appreciate that as well. I walked into the bathroom, and splashed my face, my eyes still fuzzy from crying. I looked in the mirror, and for a few seconds, I found that my eyes were glowing a bright red. I screamed and jumped back. But then it faded away to its normal colour. I slouched down and held my knees.
          "A-Am I going crazy?!"
          "Why am I like this?" My eyes got blurry with tears. I looked at the rose amulet.
           "I-Is it.... This?" I stared at it for a while until before I even knew it I was awake on the bathroom floor. I sloppily got up and went to my wardrobe, I put on a Navy blue jacket with light blue skinny jeans. I walked downstairs, it was oddly quiet. I looked at a note on the counter. It was for me.
"I took Osana shopping. Call if you need something." I put on the hood of my jacket and went outside. I decided to walk in the woods. Maybe that Old Woman is around here somewhere! I ran into the woods, but stopped when I saw an oddly familiar shadowy creature move at rapid speed. Without a single thought, I ran towards it. My eyes widened. This is it! The dream! It was real! I got to know the truth! I ran up to it, I ran faster than ever before it seemed, I was right next to it it seemed, I grabbed by hand towards it, but instead it turned around and grabbed my hand that was reached out. Coldness shoot through my body. It then took its other hand and put it around the collar of my jacket and released my hand. It pulled me above the ground right next to its face.
"L-Let me... Go!" I squirmed around. I looked into its glowing red eyes, and I felt my body become numb, and my consciousness slowly fading away.
