The Break Up                                                             Part 1

I looked down on the floor all teary eyed, waiting for him to come home. I knew that what I was about to do at that moment was going to change my life forever. Finally around 6:30pm he came home, stained with mud, looking like a burnt tortilla, after a hard day of work.

"Hello dear," he said.

I didn't respond

"What's wrong," he said.

I didn't respond

"What's wrong!" he said, again.

I looked at him in the eye, "I don't think our relationship is going very well."

"What do you mean did I do something wrong?"

"No it"s me."

"What do you mean? I thought that we were fine."

He looked at me with those teary radiant crystal blue eyes like those of those of an abandoned resentful dog.

"NO! Henry  i can't take this blame any longer, I think we should break up, this isn't working anymore."

Baffled

"It's just all of this after albert died things between us haven't been the same."

"Is this what this is about albert, you know i forgave you for what you did."

Laura had just had a current affair with Sam ,Henry's best friend who had just recently died three weeks ago.

"I know but...There's something i have to tell you if i don't tell you i think i"ll blow."

"Okay tell me already ,what's so bad that can break our relationship?"

"Henry i'm having a baby! Okay."

Stands in astonishment

"Really?"

"Yes, really."

Starts to cry in happy tears

"Save it Henry this baby i'm going to have isn't yours."

"What do you mean ?"

"Can't you figure this out this baby i'm expecting is Sam's not yours!"

"It doesn't matter i'll treat it like my own"

"No goodbye Henry forever"

"Wait Laura don't go!"

Laura started to leave

"Wait i'm warning you if you take one more step be aware that i will never forgive you. And if you'll ever need something don't even think of me because I won't be here."

"Okay then I guess i'll have to live without you."

"Goodbye Henry forever."
