Beast Boy x Raven/Garfield x Rachel One shot... Mostly Garfield x Rachel

Garfield sat with Rachel as they worked on homework, he looked up at the purple hair beauty in front of him and smiled to himself. She was perfect in every way to him, he wanted her to be his world yet she was like the ocean. Pulling him into it depths then pushing him away yet as much as he hated staying on the beach he still stood there waiting for her to let him back in.
"Gar, Gar," Rachel huffed in annoyance as she snapped her finger in front of his face and he fell backwards in his chair. "Keep your head out of the clouds Garfield." She told him in her cold monotone as she stood up and started to leave the study. Garfield admiring the view of the back of her shorts. "Quit looking at my butt!" She snapped at him as she slammed the door and he finally stood up from the floor and walked out of the study to his own room, Rachel still on his mind.
Oh how he wished he could kiss her. Garfield looked at himself in his full length mirror and then fell back on his bed. "I sound like an idiot." He muttered to himself before drifting off to sleep.
Garfield was woken by the sound of his phone going off. "Hello?" He asked very confused as to why someone was calling him and why he felt cold all of a sudden. "Hey Gar-bear, I was wondering if you could help me with the math homework?" Terra's bubbly voice asked as Garfield sat up and rubbed the bridge of his nose, then his temples feeling a headache about to come. "Yeah, sure, come over in ten minutes." He heard her say bye then hang up as he walked down the flights of stairs and reached the door just as the girls car pulled in.
Rachel had left a few minutes prior to Terra phoning Garfield as they were out of her favorite snack and she also noticed a shortage on Gar's tofu. She walked through the front door and placed the items in the fridge as she started up the stairs to ask the color green obsessor if he wanted to order a pizza or something. She noticed the light to the study on so she went to check there first.
Terra stood over Garfield with her legs on either side of his, she was leaning over so their lips were almost touching as Garfields hands were on her hips. Rachel suddenly felt jealous and heartbroken so she just ran, leaving her coat and phone behind.
Garfield looked up from trying to push Terra off of him and saw a flash of purple. He got out from her grasp and handed her her coat and bag. "You need to leave." Gar said as he ushered her down the stairs. "But Gar..." Terra whined and Garfield just sent her a cold look as he threw on his coat and then sent another look to Terra. "Just be gone by the time I get back." He said then left the house going after Rachel.
Rachel sat on a bench in a park not that far from the house, she didn't cry, although it felt like she would. Snow started to fall as she shivered in the thin hoodie, the one Garfield gave to her.
Garfield ran through the streets looking for her. He eventually found himself at a look out point that over looked a lake that was just starting to freeze over. He sighed in frustration as the memories of what happened played through his mind. He was just starting to help Terra when she pulled him over to the couch and started saying how he needed a real woman and not some 'moody emo chick' as she put it so kindly. He soon found himself walking back to the house, as he was walking to the door so was Rachel. He paused for a moment, watching as her figure walked towards him with snow falling around her as she opened the door, he followed after her pulling off his coat as she walked into the kitchen to make tea. "What about Terra?" Rachel asked as she noticed the lack of blonde. "I told her to leave." Garfield stated as he turned on some music and walked towards Rachel. "Care to dance?" He asked, she shook her head only to have Garfield grab her hand and place it on his shoulder as he placed his left hand on her waist.
The two swayed to the music for a bit before Garfield became daring and placed a finger under Rachel's chin turning it up wards so her dark blue eyes were staring into his emerald ones. "What are you-?" Rachel was cut off by Garfield pressing his lips to hers as his arms were wrapped loosely around her waist. Rachel was stunned for a few seconds before she realized, her eyes gently closed as her arms wrapped around his neck and his hold on her waist got tighter. Oxygen called for them as then pulled away from each other. Rachel rested her head on Garfields chest as they stood in silence, words never needed to be spoken as they looked into each others eyes.
"Movie Marathon!"
Rachel sat in Gars lap as they watched random movies, his arms wrapped around her as she started shaking again. "Just go to sleep, you'll warm up." Rachel closed her eyes and when Garfield thought she was asleep he said three words that she had always wanted to hear.
"I love you."
"You too."
